They’re Completely Collapsing

It’s all breaking. The Democratic Party is going down in flames as the far left drives the party away from more moderate positions that will appeal to voters.

On questions of health, federal spending, illegal immigration, crime and gun rights, the far left is excoriating the Democrats, pushing them off the deep end.

Even The Young Turks — Cenk Uygur and Ana Kasparian —  are fed up with the party’s intransigence. Here’s more Langley Outdoors Academy.

The Libertarian Choice

The media blabs about Donald J. Trump and Kamala Harris incessantly. But what about Chase Oliver, the Libertarian candidate for president?

John Stossel says Oliver has hatched some pretty interesting ideas, thoughts you won’t hear from either major-party candidate. Oliver believes in “the most local governance, which is self-governance.” He wants government to stay out of our lives. He plans to privatize welfare, end social security and cut federal spending. Here’s Stossel’s report.

Trump Didn’t Drain The Swamp!

John Stossel says that as a Presidential candidate, Donald J. Trump promised to “drain the swamp.” He didn’t.

Stossel says  Trump made government bigger, hired new employees, doubled federal spending and started a bunch of new programs. Now the swamp is bigger. He welcomes economist Ed Stringham to the podcast, who explains the real way to drain the swamp is to cut the spending that swamp creatures feed on.

Healthcare Not A Right

America is a sick country and getting sicker by the moment. So, is it any wonder that healthcare costs continue to surge out of control, outpacing every other sector of the economy.

Dr. Marty Makary, director of surgery and health policy at Johns Hopkins University, says 17 cents of every dollar spent in the U.S. goes to healthcare, which is one-sixth of all spending. Additionally, 48 percent of federal spending is healthcare related and, as of 2018, healthcare became the biggest business in the country.

So where do we go from here? In a healthcare video marathon, Dr. Makary and some of his colleagues examine America’s health problems, the costs and the role insurance plays. And they also dissect the big question: Single-payer or government-run healthcare? Here’s the video from PragerU.
