Covid: Who Was Right?

After three years of Covid-19, what lessons can we learn? Did lockdowns work? What about closing schools? What countries did best?

John Stossel says it turns out that America’s lockdowns did not work. Even though the media praised New York Gov. Andrew Cuomo for an “amazing job,” his state ended up with more deaths than “irresponsible” Florida. Meanwhile, some countries, like Australia, imposed brutal lockdowns.

“My producer crunched the numbers at MaximumTruth.Substack.com and found that lockdowns did save some lives,” Stossel says. “But they weren’t worth it.” Here’s his report.

Bowing To The Masked Mob

After more than a year of mask mandates in New York, Gov. Andrew Cuomo Wednesday lifted the restrictions statewide. The update prompted New York City grocery store owner Morton Williams to send an email to customers, explaining its decision to comply with the governor’s order and CDC suggestions, which caused a firestorm among his woke customers.

So the store, bowing to the mob culture, sent out another email, this time urging all to “be respectful” to those who feel uncomfortable without a mask and choose to continue wearing one. I wonder where all that respect was throughout the past year for all those who did not want to wear a mask? The zaniness continues. Glenn Beck digs out more details in the following video.

Media Complicit in Cover-Up

There are growing calls from both side of the aisles for New York Gov. Andrew Cuomo to resign, following an admission from an aide that the administration held back nursing home data on deaths from the COVID-19 pandemic.

Political pundit Tammy Bruce tells Fox News that if Cuomo doesn’t resign, authorities will launch an investigation. And making matters worse for Cuomo, the Biden Administration has refused to offer him a vote of confidence. But perhaps the big elephant in the proverbial room is the mainstream media turning a deaf ear to the growing scandal. Says Bruce, “In this case, the media is complicit.
