Last Remaining Refuge Of Light

We are taking back our Great Country. It’s a slow and often dangerous journey.

At times, we see spotlights ahead of us. Are they actually a refuge? Or must we beware?

Can we still be waylaid by conspiracies? By Deep State subterfuge?

Our mission is good, and our goal is just. We can reach our destination, so we must remain strong. Pray! Here’s more from And We Know.

Why Tip Taxes Need To Go

Remember President Donald Trump’s pledge to eliminate taxes on tips? Now, the Leftists are pissed about that.

Their Trump Derangement knows no bounds. Here’s more from Styxhexenhammer666.

Senate Passes Big, Beautiful Bill

The U.S. Senate, by a 51-49 vote late Saturday night, approved President Donald Trump’s Big, Beautiful Bill.  There’s still some haggling to occur as the Senate and House bills are slightly different.

This should ensure that Trump’s massive proposed tax cuts and spending cuts get enacted, including the provision to eliminate taxes on tips. However, it’s not clear if the negotiations will finish in time for the bill to be signed into law on the Fourth of July, as Trump and the Republicans have been promising.

The vote stayed open for nearly three hours Saturday as Vice President J.D. Vance wrangled with dissenting and hold-out Republicans to get a majority vote.  That included Ron Johnson of Wisconsin, Rand Paul of Kentucky and Thom Tillis of North Carolina. Here’s more from Steve Turley on the significance of the process and how Trump disarmed the RINOs.

Trump’s Plan To Eliminate Taxes

Howard Lutnick, the Commerce Secretary under President Donald Trump, says the administration is working on a clearcut plan that would abolish all federal taxes on income of less than $150,000 annually.

This would not only include earnings, but also tips and Social Security. Roughly 93 percent of all Americans earn less than the $150,000 cutoff, so federal taxes would disappear for these residents.

The goal is to make up for these losses by raising new monies through tariffs on imports. In essence, those shipping goods into the United States would pay for the privilege.

It’s not clear yet if this goal can be achieved, or how quickly it can be implemented.  Here’s more from Dave Rubin on The Rubin Report, sharing a clip of Lutnick outlining the plan to CBS News Host Nancy Cordes.

The Trump Bump Is Happening

The Trump Bump is happening! We Are Change reports that President-elect Donald J. Trump is already planning major economic moves, including a temporary cap on the predatory credit card companies.

Trump vowed that credit card interest rates will be capped at 10 percent, instead of the ridiculous rates of 25 to 30 percent they are now charging many Americans. Trump and Vice-President elect J.D. Vance are also backing the Credit Card Compensation Act that will limit the payment fees for companies that take credit cards, such as Bitcoin and stock brokers.

And there’s more. One of Trump’s major campaign promises was a plan to abolish taxes on tips for service workers and he also tinkered with also banning federal income tax. Here’s more.

Campaign Economic Blunders

Donald Trump and Kamala Harris are full of big promises–no taxes on tips, $25,000 for new homebuyers, rent control and tariffs.

John Stossel says that all sounds good, but it’s economically bad. He exposes the economic blunders of both candidates, including someof their worst proposals.
