Spinning The Turbines

What’s behind the Texas power outage? Should we blame the frozen wind turbines? Or have other shutdowns, include coal, natural gas and nuclear power plants, contributed to the morass? Here, Los Alamos scientist Tony Heller examines the facts, and gives you realistic appraisals of the problems. Heller has been in the forefront of dispelling many of the myths of the climate change leftists. He’s a practical, i.e. credible,  source of information in this disaster.

Wokeism To Destroy Civilization

In Monday’s Situation Update, Mike Adams gives us his take on the rolling power outages now hitting Texas. They’re caused by the extreme winter weather, of course, but aggravated by the growing move toward green energy. Adams explains how electric cars are placing enormous power demands on a grid that is already strained by the weather.

If coal and nuclear power get phased out, and oil energy also is hung out to dry by the foolhardy Democrats, we could see many days where folks face power outages. And they not only won’t be able to heat their homes, but also marooned in those same drafty and freezing homes — unable to drive to work. So much for wokeism and how it is rendering civilization decaying and defunct.

Here’s another sign of impending chaos and an inflation red alert: Max Porterfield, the CEO of Callinex Mines, Inc. joins the SGTReport to discuss the global run on tangible hard assets, the destruction of fiat currency and the reason why his company’s stock is up nearly 10X since the last time we spoke.

Democratic Party Wisdom

Tony Heller from realclimatescience.com explores the insane Democratic policies calling for an end to fossil fuels, allowing our oil and coal resources to go untapped and unharvested. Not only are they opposed to fracking but seemingly straightforward drilling for fossil fuels. Do they want a future that looks like Mad Max? Crazy Leftist party, run by imbeciles.

Turn The Ocean Into A Battery

Wouldn’t it be great if there was a natural battery? One that you didn’t have to build, one that you didn’t have to burn, one that lasts forever and is plentiful and never loses energy. Well, it seems we’re in luck. We do have exactly that–it’s called the ocean. And the process of extracting that energy is called Ocean Thermal Energy Conversion, or OTEC. Video blogger Joe Scott fills in the details.

Powerful Legacy of Scale Trees

The vast majority of the electricity produced in human history have come from coal, which was produced from the remains of extinct organisms that have been exposed to millions of years of heat and pressure. But in the case of coal, these organisms consisted of some bizarre plants called lepidodendrales, or scale trees, which once covered Earth from Colorado to China. These powerful trees left a huge legacy, living and dying in large numbers, and forming carbon-rich peat that produced one of our most prolific energy sources. PBS Eons host Kallie Moore explains.

Rich Died at Hospital?

An emergency room doctor who operated on Seth Rich says he was doing fine when he arrived at the Washington Hospital Center. But something strange happened the following day — suggesting he might have died while undergoing treatment. The reporting doctor says it’s unclear what happened to him because most of the hospital staff was barred from seeing him. More from Bill Still.

Meanwhile, in quite the coincidence, it turns out that the doctor assigned to oversee the care of Rich — Dr. Jack Sava — is married to Lisa Kountoupes. Who is she? She is a Democratic Party lobbyist, who has hosted fund-raisers along with John and Tony Podesta. She also was involved with Hillary Clinton’s shady deal to sell American uranium to Russia and has lobbied for Exelon, a company that owns about 20 nuclear power plants and was behind the War on Coal.

White House records indicate Dr. Sava visited six times. Kountoupes made 23 trips to the Obama White House.

Obama: The Green Meanie

President Obama continues his misguided campaign to wipe out the coal industry. With the economy barely growing and his record of job creation ranking among the worst in modern times, Obama still can’t seem to focus his energies on shoring up the anemic economy or boosting the prospects for job-seekers. Instead, he’s chosen to kowtow to his left flank, pushing more government regulation and introducing ever wilder green energy boondoggles. None of this is shocking anymore, coming from an aloof and arrogant, tone-deaf Administration. H/T Wall Street Journal

Energy Independence Near

Canada and the United States are on a path to achieve energy independence, pundit Charles Krauthammer tells Ezra Levant of Canada’s Sun News. Canada will do so first, owing to the Obama Administration jumping into bed with radical environmentalists who have impeded the pace of energy development in the United States. As a result, Obama has gutted the coal industry and not allowed natural gas fracking to proceed as quickly as it could.

But Krauthammer predicts Obama will begin to modify his failed energy policies during his second term to help turnaround the anemic economy. The pundit even believes a reversal is imminent on the Keystone Pipeline, and advises Canadians to wait a few months before committing to send vast oil resources to China. H/T Blazing Cat Fur
