Maine hosted a televised debate among Democrats seeking to replace Graham Platner on the ballot this fall, running for the U.S. Senate seat now held by Susan Collins.
Transgender Ashley Webb is stepping forward. A star is born. Here’s more from Mark Dice.
We should not at all be surprised by Maine Democratic Socialist Graham Platner being stripped of his title as the party’s Senate hopeful. Platner was ousted over his abysmal track record as a man accused of raping and sexually assaulting multiple women.
It turns out Platner caught his break as Senate hopeful when Bernie Sanders pulled together a massive pool of financial support for Platner through Sanders’ Socialist backers. And who convinced Sanders to do so? None other than Democratic strategist Daniel Morath, a champagne socialist who graduated from Yale Law School.
Morath has something else in common with Platner. Morath earlier was booted from the campaign of U.S. Rep. Summer Lee, of Pennsylvania, after being accused of multiple sexual assault charges.
Who else has Morath been behind? Not only Nebraska’s Dan Osborn, who calls himself an “independent,” but also current Michigan U.S. Senate hopeful Abdul El-Sayed. Morath, the grandson of the founder of Toys R Us, owns his own Dark Forest consulting firm. Here’s more from Braden Langley.
Watch as a leftist journalist from MS NOW, Molly Jong-Fast, stumbles over her words, trying to explain why and how Graham Platner got lifted as the Democrats’ U.S. Senate candidate in Maine. Talk about weaseling around with words! Here’s more from Memology101.
Democrats are facing growing internal turmoil as former House Speaker Newt Gingrich argues the party is fracturing from within. He says the party is losing its identity and warns the political divide could either push moderate voters toward conservatives or create an opening for more progressive and socialist factions to gain greater influence.
Former Democrat fundraiser Lindy Li says donor confidence is collapsing after wealthy contributors allegedly discovered campaign money was being spent on luxury events, extravagant image-building, and lavish expenses instead of voter outreach and competitive races. She argues many longtime Democratic donors now feel betrayed and are refusing to write large checks because they no longer trust party leadership to spend their money responsibly.
Democrats also suffered another major political setback in Maine after Senate candidate Graham Platner suspended his campaign following a serious criminal allegation. The race had already attracted national attention, millions of dollars in campaign spending, and endorsements from prominent Democratic leaders. With the campaign now collapsing, party officials are scrambling to find a replacement candidate before filing deadlines. Here’s more from Stephen Gardner.
Did the Democratic Party honchos plan back in May to get rid of Graham Platner? Did they withhold damaging evidence of his sexual crimes so they would have the fuel to force him out after he had won the Maine Democratic primary? Will they now turn around and install former Maine Gov. Janet Mills as their Senate hopeful — the woman Platner easily whipped?
Next News Network lays out the scenario and says it fits the Democratic playbook — the same playbook they used to install Kamala Harris as their 2024 Presidential hopeful, even though she hadn’t undergone any of the rigors of the primary process.
Is this a party that cares so little about its members? Are party officials like Chuck Schumer and Hakeem Jeffries calling all the shots, with the backing of the leftist fake news? Here’s more from Gary Franchi.
Rainn Wilson, star of The Office, says he doubts that show could be made today, owing to the woke demands of the left.
He derides leftist culture for being hypocritical. He notes how the left has allowed Graham Platner — the Maine Democratic Senate candidate with a Nazi tattoo emblazoned on his chest — to slide. The same people would be all over Platner if he was running from the right. “Both sides need to have equal standards of behavior,” he says.
I sat down with Vicki Paladino, a Republican Congresswoman from New York City, to discuss the election that’s going on in New Jersey.
Democrat Adam Hamawy just won the 12th District, and he has some concerning ties. Paladino says if Hamaway wins, an al-Qaeda associate will get national security clearance.
Has the Democratic Party lost its mind? In race after race, they are advancing truly obnoxious and un-American hopefuls.
The easiest solution: Don’t vote for any of bums! If they are Democratic, give them the short shrift, the same as you would give Hamawy or Graham Platner. Here’s more from Glenn Beck.
Early Democratic leads in the polling numbers are now shrinking. In fact, even the left-leaning Marquette polling outfit shows Democrats and Republicans virtually tied — 49 percent to 48 percent. What’s happened?
As the Democratic Party has moved farther to the left, introducing a new slate of hardcore leftists, the party’s polling advantages have vanished. Now, we’re seeing the effects of nominating outright Nazis, fuddy woke nihilists and other renegade turncoats. Voters are horrified, and rightfully so — the Democrats erred in veering so far to the left they no longer can appeal to the average voter.
Will the party now take the U.S. Senate or U.S. House? Possible, but as time passes, less and less likely. Here’s more from the liberal Hivemind.
