Scotland’s recent legislation on hate speech is backfiring in a huge way, as local police precincts are being massively inundated with calls.
Josh Sigurdson reports the Orwellian laws include terms like “insulting” or “offending” someone who is in the LGBT community by not calling them by their gender preference or correct pronoun, an offense that, in some cases, could lead to as much as a seven-year prison sentence.
