Everyone Hates It But Me

Christopher Nolan’s Odyssey hasn’t even come out yet and it’s already the most disliked Hollywood trailer since Snow White.

What was Nolan’s motivation? He’d do anything to win an Oscar. Here’s more from Mr. Reagan.

All-Seeing Eye Of Ancient Giants

Many cultures around the world, such as the ancient Mesoamericans and classical Greeks, told stories of giants, describing them as a flesh-and-blood race who lived and died–and whose bones could be found in the ground where they were buried long ago. In fact, it was none other than President Abraham Lincoln who was quoted in 1848 as saying before Congress that, “The eyes of that species of extinct giant, whose bones fill the mounds of America, have gazed on Niagara as our eyes do now.” What was this giant species Lincoln spoke of, a race many presume to be of a tall, strong, and intellectually sophisticated people? During the last several centuries, the remains of hundreds of Giant humans have been discovered on US soil, and reported on in a variety of news outlets, back before the media was consolidated into the hands of a few.

Robert Sepehr is an anthropologist and author.
