End To The Forever War Empire

Barbara Boyd argues President Trump has been testing NATO for months and is now seriously considering leaving the alliance after European allies refused to help defend shipping in the Strait of Hormuz, a move she says confirmed his view that NATO plays “stupid games” while the U.S. pays the costs.

She traces the turning point to the February 2025 Munich Security Conference, where Vice President JD Vance warned Europe is threatened from within and must provide for its own defense. Boyd links Trump’s Iran policy—renewed talks, a 60-day deadline, then Operation Midnight Hammer and subsequent European sanctions—to an economic strategy built on cheap, reliable energy and a desire to reduce U.S. military focus in the Middle East while expanding investment-led development.

She also warns of competing online narratives after Charlie Kirk’s 2025 assassination that aim to fracture MAGA through religious warfare, targeting Vance and Director of National Intelligence Tulsi Gabbard. Here’s more from Promethean Updates.

Marco The Magnificent

While Democrat hopefuls Gavin Newsom and Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez sputtered and bumbled their way across Europe, Secretary of State Marco Rubio delivered a speech to the Munich Security Conference that was elegant yet simple, friendly yet firm, and deeply moral yet grounded in reality.

It was the latest masterstroke from the most capable and effective Secretaries of State in living memory — and perhaps, of all time. Here’s more in a new edition of The Right Angle. Scott Ott leads the discussion, joined by Steve Green and Bill Whittle.

Czech Mate

Hillary Clinton got into a  doozy of an argument at the Munich Security Conference in Germany. With her face looking all shriveled up and emaciated, the former Secretary of State used the occasion to lash into President Donald Trump  – who soundly whipped Clinton back in 2016.

Trump wasn’t around to defend himself, but he received some passionate support from Petr Macinka, the Czech deputy prime minister. Clinton argued that abandoning Ukraine would be “traitorous,” but Macinka told her she needed to stop labeling her political opponents as “fascists.” Macinka shifted focus to internal Western policy, attacking “climate alarmism” and the “woke movement.” Here’s more from Memology 101.

All Eyes On Germany

Harley Schlanger, an American scholar based in Germany, says the people of Germany are abuzz. Not only did Vice President J.D. Vance provide a wakeup call with his speech in Munich, but Germany is experiencing pronounced economic problems, disruptive migration and a truly sinister crackdown on free speech. What’s afoot in Germany is mirrored in France, Great Britain and much of the rest of the European Union.

Here,  Schlanger talks about the shifting tides in public opinion across Europe. It’s not only events overseas that are captivating audiences, but also the startling DOGE revelations of corruption in the United States and the breakup of the U.S. Agency for International Development — the leftist front group for the CIA.  Schlanger appears on the Mel K Show.

Gross Censorship Must End!

It’s hard to say how the European “democracies” can call themselves “democracies” when they censor so much speech. They do not at all value free speech, but label anything as “disinformation” or “misinformation” if it threatens how they govern.

Here, Truthstream Media draws a line in the sand: A democracy cannot exist unless there is free speech. You cannot protect anything by destroying it.

Those in the European Union who want to blackball speech must retreat from that extremism. If not, why should we help you at all? Doesn’t make much sense.

Vance Schools European Union

Vice President J.D. Vance set the world straight on Friday when he addressed European Union bureaucrats at the Munich Security Conference in Munich, Germany. The “commissars,” as he labeled them, pretend to promote democracy, but their anti-freedom policies betray their people. He scolded them for relying too heavily on the United States to handle their defense against Russia or other adversaries.

Let’s take a look at the speech and the reaction—plus next steps with Ukraine and Israel. Here’s more from Lori Colley.
