Investigative journalist Jeffrey Jaxon reports another blockbuster subplot has surfaced in the origin of the Covid-19 investigation. Jaxen says according to an article in The Telegraph, based in the United Kingdom, Wuhan Lab scientists planned to release skin-penetrating nanoparticles and aerosols containing novel chimeric spike proteins into cave bats in Yunnan, China, 18 months before the first coronavirus cases appeared.
More eerily, scientists wanted to create chimeric viruses, genetically enhanced to infect humans more easily, and requested $14 million from DARPA to fund the work. “This takes the conversation into hyperspace,” Jaxen says. “It’s out and there’s a lot of mainstream outlets really reporting on this.” He adds the bid for the plan was submitted by none other than Peter Daszak, of U.S.-based EcoHealth Alliance and the man at the center of the gain-of-function controversy.
