During World War II, new technology was developed to take out German strongholds in Nazi-occupied France. Called Operation Aphrodite, this mission involved remote-controlled Boeing B-17s, loaded with explosives, flown into the Nazi bunkers at Mimoyecques. It was from these bunkers that the the Nazis fired V-3 cannons into London, destroying so many homes and factories.
Persistent allied bombing rendered the large-caliber propellant guns useless, but many planes as well as pilots were lost, including Joseph P. Kennedy Jr. — the elder brother of John F. Kennedy.
Now, pilots belonging to the global group — the 9/11 Pilot Whistleblowers — have charged that many of the same concepts behind Operation Aphrodite were later applied to 9/11. In short, the whistleblowers allege there were no planes commandeered by Islamic terrorists, but simply planes loaded with explosives flown by remote control — an uninterruptible autopilot system — into specified targets. Two of those planes hit the Twin Towers in New York City, while the third plane hit the Pentagon.
Here’s more on Operation Aphrodite from National Geographic on its 2016 series The Strange Truth.
The missing years of Jesus — between the ages of 12 and 30 — are unaccounted for. There is no written record, no stories told, not even in the Bible. In modern times, speculation runs rampant and attempts have been made to fill in the details. Tune in to this presentation of National Geographic, as historians attempt to solve the conundrum.
Remember when National Geographic won the fake news award for its sensationalist fake news about the starving polar bear? Well guess who had to admit they went too far with pushing the climate change agenda? But what does it matter if everyone sees the story and no one sees the retraction? Let’s explore this interesting model of propaganda and retraction in today’s edition of #PropagandaWatch. More from James Corbett on The Corbett Report.
Let’s take a look at Jason Silva, the salesman for New Age optimism and One World techno-mysticism. He’s now a prime spokesman for Google and National Geographic, but in reality, he’s not at all a visionary, just another fake space guru and liar.
(EDITOR’S NOTE:The original video has disappeared so we present a second one, where Silva gives a Ted-Ed talk on What Is the Future Of Us?)
In this episode of National Geographic Live, photographers Angela Fisher and Carol Beckwith join forces to explore the art of using skin as a canvas. The practice is performed among many African tribes to attract the opposite sex, to differentiate oneself from the enemy and to access the spirit world. (Caution: Perhaps NSFW, owing to tribal nudity).
National Geographic offers a brief crash-course in how hurricanes form and why they can become so destructive. The average hurricane, for instance, releases as much energy in a day as half a million atomic bombs.
Two days before the Nov. 6 election, the National Geographic Channel will broadcast Seal Team Six: The Raid on Osama Bin Laden. How coincidental that this world premiere will fall so close to the election, seeing as how the events depicted occurred a year and a half ago. Rest assured, it has nothing at all to do with the fact that the film comes from The Weinstein Company, under the helm of Harvey Weinstein, a major Obama donor, who hosted a $35,800-per-person fund-raiser for the president on Aug. 6, attended by Anne Hathaway, Aaron Sorkin, Anna Wintour and other celebrities. As Dorothy was admonished in The Wizard of Oz, “Pay no attention to that man behind the curtain.”
Once she’s created a burrow for her eggs, the female flapneck chameleon of Africa hits the road again, never to return. The eggs take a full year to hatch, but the baby chameleons can fend for themselves, without any training, from the moment they are born. H/T National Geographic
