A new chapter has been uncovered in the miraculous story of the Stonehenge monument. Following the 2020 summer solstice, scientists discovered a circular neolithic monument surrounding the world heritage site, leading to speculation of the representations taking place. Analysis has revealed the presence of 20 or more massive prehistoric shafts about 10 meters in diameter and 5 meters deep, forming a circle more than 1.3 miles in diameter around the monument. Archaeologists have recently made a surprising claim regarding Stonehenge. An excavation from a nearby site, about a mile from the stone structures, seems to provide evidence that Stonehenge was continuously occupied as early as 7,500 B.C. That’s about 5,000 years earlier than what was previously believed.
