Sergeant’s Video Goes Viral

Sean Hannity interviews a retired U.S. Marine who works as a private security contractor. He took to Facebook to warn of the dangers Americans still face in Iraq. Steven Gern’s video, which was posted from Iraq and has been viewed more than 45 million times, came just a few days after President Trump’s executive order triggered massive protests at U.S. airports.

Trump’s orders involved restricting access to the United States for refugees and some visa holders from Iraq, Iran, Libya, Somalia, Sudan, Syria, and Yemen, said the aides and experts, who asked not to be identified. The restrictions on refugees are likely to include a multi-month ban on admissions from all countries until the State Department and the Department of Homeland Security can make the vetting process more rigorous. A Glimpse Of World War III

Islamic terrorists want our resources. Pure and simple. And ISIS’ march through Syria and Iraq is just the beginning. Glenn Beck, of The Blaze.com and MercuryOneMemphis.com, heralds it as the beginning of World War III. Beck says Islam will move rapidly across the Middle East, stamp its mark in north Africa and move into South and Central America, leaving North America up for grabs.

Obama a Cream Puff

President Obama’s reaction to the Ukraine Crisis was a forgone conclusion. After all, wasn’t it Obama that drew the red line when turmoil erupted in Syria, only to stand back and watch as Assad and his thugs crossed it time after time. Wasn’t it Obama who declared that negotiating with our enemies is not an option, then invited the Iranian mullahs to the table for some serious detente.

And so it’s our president who continues to weigh options on the sidelines while Comrade Putin bulldozes his way through the Crimean Peninsula, while setting his sights on Eastern Ukraine. Says political pundit Dick Morris, “I think that Putin has sized up Obama as a cream puff. And as somebody who’s as impotent and as unable to act as Europe is.”

Putin to the Rescue

Russian President Vladimir Putin’s 11th-hour compromise in the Syrian Crisis has possibly handed President Obama an exit from his self-created impasse. “Vladimir Putin absolutely pulled a coup in his proposal that Assad turn over his chemical weapons stock to U.N. supervision, and in return the U.S. not attack Syria,” says political pundit Dick Morris. “In one move, what he’s done is essentially say the issue is no longer what did Assad do two months ago, but what will he do in the future.”

The Fatwa on Croissants

A sharia committee in a rebel-held area of Syria has banned croissants, because the French delicacy allegedly violates Muslim morality and recalls the country’s painful colonial past. The fatwa against the manufacture, sale and consumption of croissants is in effect in rebel-controlled sections of the city Aleppo, where sharia committees had already made wearing tight clothes and makeup a criminal offense for any Muslim woman.

Let the Mudslinging Begin

Sparks fly in this debate on the Syrian civil war, pitting investigative journalist and blogger Lee Kaplan against Ken O’Keefe, the activist and former Marine who led the human shield action to Iraq in 2002. Rather than discuss Syria, the two exchanged a wild series of accusations and below-the-belt insults. Iran’s propaganda arm, Press TV, organized the debate, and its announcer appeared to provide cover to O’Keefe. In turn, he has been a frequent apologist for the Iranian mullahs, peddling the outlandish notion that 9-11 was an inside hit job conducted by the Israeli spy agency Mossad.

Brotherhood: The Big Lie

The Muslim Brotherhood in Egypt is reportedly using guerrilla social media tactics to promote their Islamist agenda in the crisis-struck state. The Brotherhood, who back ousted former president Mohammed Morsi, controversially posted old pictures of children dying in Syria on their Facebook page, to imply these events were currently taking place in Egypt.

Syrian Tensions Spill Over

Gunfire erupts in the southern Lebanese city of Sidon, causing Sunni Muslims to run for their lives. The machine gun shots were fired by Lebanese troops to disperse dozens of Sunni Muslims who were demonstrating in support of a hardline cleric. The military crushed his fighters earlier this week in the worst fighting in Lebanon since the neighboring Syrian conflict broke out.

Our Secret Involvement in Syria

Does the Obama Administration conduct any business in public? Apparently not. Now we learn that the US has been secretly involved in providing military training to the Syrian rebels since late 2012. The CIA has carried out the training in the use of anti-tank and antiaircraft weapons from clandestine bases in both Turkey and Jordan.
