School Choice Finally Arrives

Most kids get assigned to a school based on where they live. Live in a neighborhood with lousy schools? Too bad.

But now more states have school choice vouchers that let parents enroll kids in a better school. Great! But unions and bureaucrats resist. Here’s more from John Stossel.

The Power Of School Choice

For too long, your child’s educational quality has been determined by which Democrat money-laundering scheme (teachers’ union) is planted near your home. Parents were forced to comply with woke, incompetent educators or pay for a private education that could cost tens of thousands of dollars a year.

Sara Carter reports that for wealthy families, this wasn’t a problem, but the same wasn’t true for middle-class Americans. Then came the school-choice revolution and parents saw what their children were learning during the COVID pandemic and said this simply wasn’t good enough.

Republican politicians saw this energy and quickly capitalized to take the governor’s mansion in Virginia and school boards across the country. Dr. Corey A. DeAngelis, The School Choice Evangelist, joins Carter to lay out the power of school choice policies and their effect on crime, test scores and childhood development.

There’s No Turning Back Now

The [Deep State] is now going to go all out to stop Trump. We are at war. This is the end game and both sides know this. There is no turning back now.

Trump knows the people have his back. The fake news is not working and the [Deep State] does not have the narrative.

The brainwashing has been broken and as we head down this path, more and more people will wake up. In the end, the [Deep State] will be destroyed. More from the X22 Report.

No escape.  Evil has no place here! This is not a game. We all want to see equal justice under the law.

Here’s the latest video from from And We Know. It includes a wrapup of this weekend’s Conservative Political Action Conference and an introduction to Rhode Island mother Nicole Solas. She faced a long and difficult battle against the teachers’ unions to find out what was being taught her kindergarten daughter. These leftist teachers’ unions have usurped their authority long enough. They need to become public servants again, or be vanquished.

Will Blue States Vote Red?

Dave Rubin of The Rubin Report talks to Larry Elder about his running for governor in the California recall election, the frightening statistics of failing schools and the housing market, how Republican governors can enact rapid change in blue states, and the real reason why Democrats are desperate to use systemic racism to get the black vote.

First, Larry discusses how environmental regulations drive up the cost of living in blue states like California. The powerful unions, and the prohibitive cost of environmental compliance create a rising cost of living and cost of doing business that caused CEO Magazine to put California in last place for the worst states for business.

He also shares some frightening statistics about the test scores of public schools, the need for school reform and taking on the teacher’s unions.

Teachers’ Unions Vs. Students

If teachers’ unions get to decide, your child’s school won’t be open soon. In the last year, unions have shown their true colors, placing their own interests ahead of both science and students.

The unions claim COVID-19 render schools too dangerous for teachers. That may be true for elderly teachers, but overall, reopening schools is safe. Heritage Education researcher Lindsey Burke tells John Stossel that a study of 191 countries reveals there is no consistent link between reopening schools and increased rates of virus transmission. “Schools are not COVID hotspots,” he says.

Closed schools hurt students, especially poorer kids, because they can’t afford the alternatives available to the privileged. For example, California closed government-run schools, while governor Gavin Newsom sent his kids to a private school that’s open. And in Oregon, the state teachers’ union even blocked students from transferring to virtual charters, schools that pose no COVID risk. So why do unions support closures that hurt students and won’t make people safer? It’s about money and power. Here’s more with Stossel.

U.S. Education Scandal Brewing

A major sandal is brewing in our educational system across the country, spurred by the corrupt and Left-leaning teachers’ unions. These unscrupulous morons are conning a whole generation of our children out of a real education by using the COVID-19 pandemic to their advantage.

The end result: schools are shut down and students are being forced to online learning at a staggering cost. Take a look at Los Angeles, where kindergarten enrollment dropped by a sharp 6,000 students. In St. Paul, Minn., 40 percent of high school students have failing grades and the percentage is even higher in Houston, where 42 percent are failing in at least two classes.

And the fallout gets worse. In our nation’s capital, there’s been a 14-percent drop among black students in kindergarten through second grade, who met literacy standards. Twenty miles away, in Fairfax County, Va., a new survey of academic performance in schools found that “F” letter grades are up a whopping 83 percent.

Fox News’ Tammy Bruce discusses the problem with former Georgetown University professor and ex-Fairfax County parent Asra Nomani and education activist Cynthia Garrett.
