Is the American Republic Done?

Joe Dan Gorman says he received a message from a good friend in Kentucky, wondering why no one has declared a time of death for this American Republic, because it’s gone. Says Gorman, “They’re not shredding our Constitution, they’ve shred it. Our Legislative branch has violated its oath, our Executive branch has violated its oath in too many ways to list here, our Judicial branch is a carnival of circus freaks, overruling elections to promote their radical leftwing agenda. And then our untouchable Supreme Court, they’ve already ruled once that it is constitutional for the government of the Land of the Free to force all its citizens to buy a product or face government penalties.”

Joe Dan calls it liberal tyranny. He also touches on Hillary Clinton’s e-mail woes, the raising of the debt ceiling, Prime Minister Netanyahu and the Israeli-U.S. tension in this mesmerizing edition of Intellectual Froglegs.

In Obama We Do Not Trust

As Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu prepares to speak to Congress this morning, Wild Bill has some very direct words for the American public: “In my humble opinion, the real leader of the free world is not the president of the USA, not until Mr. Obama is gone,” says Wild Bill. “It appears that the most trusted leader today is Prime Minister Netanyahu, of Israel.” Wild Bill says Americans should look at President Obama’s ongoing negotiation with Iran on nukes with disdain and be forewarned of the implications of such an association. He lashes out further in this edition of Wild Bill for America.

Why Netanyahu is Right

Supreme Leader of Iran, Ayatollah Ali Khamenei, said recently that it was good that Jews were relocating to Israel because it would make it easier for Iran to wipe them out with one bomb. Such brain-dead comments, coupled with Iran slowly inching toward a nuclear bomb and President Obama’s reluctance to recognize the threat, has driven Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu into action.

The Israeli head of state will lay out the Iranian threat in a speech to the joint houses of Congress despite Obama’s disapproval. “Netanyahu is going over the head of Obama and speaking directly to the American people and speaking directly to Congress,” political pundit Dick Morris says. “That infuriates Obama and his petulance is unbelievable. But it’s very important that Netanyahu do that, and it’s very important that Congress and the American people are educated on this issue.”

Netanyahu Blinks

Under heavy pressure from the United States, Israel blinked and agreed to a ceasefire that is written in sand. But pundit Dick Morris predicts the ceasefire will be short-lived because Hamas will soon resume firing rockets into southern Israel.

Romney Condemns Mob Attacks

Republican GOP candidate Mitt Romney condemns the attacks on US embassies by mobs in Libya and Egypt, and criticizes the Obama administration for sending mixed messages regarding the attacks, failing to protect American values or to project American power. John Christopher Stevens, the US Ambassador to Libya, and three others were killed in the torching of the US consulate in Benghazi, the first murder of an American diplomat abroad since 1979. The assaults came on the anniversary of the 9-11 demolition of the World Trade Center in New York City, also perpetrated by Islamic extremists. Only six US ambassadors have been killed in the line of duty, the last being Adolph Dubs in Afghanistan in 1979.

Here is footage of the attack in Cairo. After scaling the embassy wall, the protesters took down the US flag and tore it into shreds. They raised a black al-Qaeda flag bearing the inscription “There is no god but Allah and Muhammad is His prophet.” Egyptian police later dispersed the crowd.

In Benghazi, Libya, the mob torched the US consulate. Ambassador Stevens died from asphyxiation. The three other Americans were shot, including two Marines protecting the US compound. Some of the “protesters” were bearing rocket-propelled grenade launchers.

Freedom Rings on the Fourth

Greetings to Americans on Independence Day from Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu. Any way we can amend the Constitution to allow Netanyahu to run for the US Presidency? His eloquence and sense of American values certainly supersede that of most of our current debased class of American politicians. Sadly, the majority of them can be counted upon to place pandering ahead of patriotism, pretty much every day of the week and twice on the Fourth of July. H/T Breitbart
