U.S. Hits Rare Earth Jackpot

More than 2.34 billion tons of rare earth minerals have been discovered in the vicinity of Halleck Creek, north of Laramie, in the state of Wyoming. The minerals include oxides of neodymium, praseodymium, samarium, dysprosium and terbium.

Previously, Communist China was thought to have a virtual monopoly on these rare earth compounds, but the U.S. mother lode is at least 20 times larger than what the Chinese can tap. These compounds are used in smartphones, electric vehicles, airplanes and for other industrial purposes.

The Edge of Wonder‘s Rob Counts touches upon the implications of the discovery here, while also delving into Chernobyl’s anticancer wolves. Also on tap: Katy Perry gets a miraculous or angelic sign from “the beyond” after her manager Martin Kirkup (who also managed Counting Crows, Tracy Chapman, the Go-Go’s, Adam Lambert, and more) passes away. There’s also another look at the 2024 Super Bowl and how it made some unexpected history.

The Electric Vehicle Scam

Joe Biden’s power grab has been particularly apparent in his attempts to force the auto industry into full electric adoption, but recent developments show it’s not all it’s cracked up to be.

The current wintry storms, for instance, have sidelined thousands of electric vehicles across North America. Even Teslas can’t charge up amidst the freezing colds in Chicago, Cleveland, Buffalo as well as many Canadian cities.

Here, Lauren Fix, “The Car Coach,” joins RedPill78 to discuss what’s afoot. Fix is a noted automotive analyst, who happens to be based in Buffalo.

Archie On Electric Vehicles

Archie Bunker sets the world straight on Democrats, electric appliances and electric vehicles. This was in 1977, long before Teslas or any other electric vehicles became the rage. Considering he made these pronouncements in 1977, he was pretty accurate on today’s issues in 2023. Here’s more from Ovation Eddie.

Hydrogen Cars: Next Wave?

Will cars powered by hydrogen-driven combustion engines lay to waste the electric vehicle industry? Koji Sato, the CEO of Toyota, says “Our new hydrogen engine will destroy the EV industry.” Toyota has been working on hydrogen engines in collaboration with Yamaha.

These engines can be powered using water, and do not require as many rare metals as electric vehicles. Also, these new engines will be stronger and more durable than electric vehicles, so they can be used for bulldozers, earth lifters and heavy industrial vehicles. Here’s more from EarthNewspaper.com.

The Cult Of Tesla

Electric vehicles are stupid and the people who buy them are dumb and mean. Let’s have some laughs at their expense. More from Amazing Polly.

Blood Batteries

Are Electric Vehicles really clean? They run on dirty energy and the blood of children as young as 6. Electric cars drive human rights abuse and child labor. China is one of the villains in this story. Are electric carmakers equally guilty, too? Palki Sharma Upadhyay tells you. More from WION, the World Is One News.
