Convoy Reaches Critical Moment

The Freedom Convoy has reached a critical patch in Canada. There is a sea of lies being spread about the convoy, mostly by Canada’s bought-off media and members of opposing political parties in Canada that support Prime Minister Justin Trudeau.

Amazing Polly has spent many hours deciphering through the morass of lies to glean the real truth of what’s happening. In this update on the convoy, she warns, “We are in the fight of our lives.”

Protesters gathered in southern France on Wednesday for what they say will be a “freedom convoy” that will converge on Paris and Brussels to demand an end to COVID-19 restrictions, inspired by Canada’s anti-mandate protests. More from the Global News.

Operation Legend: 1,500 Arrests

U.S. Attorney Gen. Bill Barr announced the arrests of nearly 1,500 people in the Department of Justice’s fight against crime via its Operation Legend campaign. Barr said in a Wednesday Kansas City news conference that the project, which utilizes federal agents to assist local law enforcement in what the AG described as a “recent upsurge in crime,” has been expanded to nine cities in an effort to quell the violence. The operation was named after 4-year-old LeGend Taliferro, who was shot and killed inside his home in Kansas City, Missouri, on June 29, 2020.

Barr added that more than 1,000 additional officers from the FBI, DEA and ATF are being assigned to help local law enforcement track down wanted suspects and are literally working shoulder-to-shoulder to crack these cases. He says that in addition to the operation, the DOJ has allocated $78.5 million in grants and other funds to support state and local law enforcement. “Operation Legend is the heart of the government’s response to this upturn in violent crime,” Barr says. “Its mission is to save lives, solve crimes and take violent offenders off the street.” Here’s more from Global News.

Dems Brace For SCOTUS Ruling

The United State Supreme Court is poised to deliver one of the most devastating and humiliating defeats to Speaker Nancy Pelosi and her Democrat minions, regarding President Trump’s tax returns. When the Democrats reclaimed the House in 2018, they exploited a 1920s law that allowed the House and Ways Committee chairman to request the tax returns of any U.S. citizen. House Committee Services Chairwomen Maxine Waters added to the mayhem, subpoening financial institutions doing business with Trump and his company to turn over records. The president sued. Democrats won at the lower court level, but could be in for a  major surprise when the Supreme Court rules on the matter. Here’s more from Global News.
