Hey Candace, It’s Your Turn!
Have gays and lesbians been posing as conservatives to sew dissension on the right? That’s one of the conclusions that you might draw after listening to this report from Jay Dyer, drawing upon posts and allegations made by the gadfly Milo Yiannapolis and rapper Azealia Banks, among others.
The round of figures covered is quite extensive — not only Candace Owens and Laura Loomer but also Nick Fuentes, Elijah Shafer and Benny Johnson. Dyer says some of his evidence is substantive. But other cases, the charges are a bit more slippery, so the speculation could be true or simply an elaborate trifle, a loose end.
So there’s room for doubt! At the same time, is it that shocking to learn that queers, trannies and dykes might be playing games with straights, pretending to be figures they are not, seeking fame or obscene riches? That’s s story as old as the hills, so if we’re just witnessing its modern iteration, we can’t exactly be shocked.
