Where Bernie, Trump Coalesce?

Susan Kokinda argues that President Donald Trump’s recent comments, praising overlap with Bernie Sanders, and Treasury Secretary Scott Bessent’s critique of “slavish devotion to free markets” signal not a change of sides but a shift to a different economic system. It frames Trump’s “new economic plan” as an industrial policy that uses tariffs, tax policy, directed investment, and potential public-private stakes in major AI firms, while also challenging Federal Reserve practices and Wall Street forecasting.

Citing the latest jobs report (172,000 jobs versus a 105,000 forecast, with prior months revised upward), it claims the plan is working, though manufacturing hiring is still early, following a sequence of orders, production, investment, then jobs described by Peter Navarro. Kokinda says this approach revives Henry Clay’s “American System,” presented as distinct from free markets, free trade, or socialism. Here’s more from Promethean Updates.

He Wants Your Data?

Socialist Bernie Sanders is pushing a dangerous idea. He wants the federal government to own half the stock of AI companies going forward.

They already have more than enough incentive to spy on Americans. Why surrender them all of our liberties and freedoms? Here’s more from Glenn Beck.

Commie Math

The mayor of Seattle, Katie Wilson, is now begging millionaires to come back after telling them to leave.

Socialist idiots like her and New York City Mayor Zohran Mamdani will be gone soon enough, but the damage they are causing America’s biggest and best cities will take a far long time to reverse. So much for socialistic insight! Here’s more from The Salty Cracker.

This Is Not Socialism

A noted academic seems to be: A.) Having vocabulary issues; B.) Having cognition troubles; or C.) Is trolling us.

Here is a new edition of The Right Angle, with Scott Ott leading this discussion, inspired by Kevin Kelly’s book The Inevitable: Understanding the 12 Technological Forces That Will Shape our Future. Ott is joined in the discussion by Steve Green and Bill Whittle.

Black People Created Democracy

Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez has spoken. She says black people created democracy.

Is she onto something or is she just on something? Is she pandering, brilliant or just another dumb socialist boob? Here’s more from Mr. Reagan.

The Case For Capitalism

Socialists want more government control over the economy.

But you can’t plan innovation.

“Always trying to find new things,” says Steve Forbes, “that’s how you get a higher standard of living.”

Here, John Stossel offers his take on why capitalism is the ONLY system that works.

The People’s Pantry

New York City’s midget mayor, Zohran Mamdani, opens his new socialist, government-run grocery stores.

All the leftists line up for cheap bread and milk, but they’re lucky if they can snag a can of tomato paste. Here’s more from The Conservative Momma.

Government To The “RESCUE”

From FDR to Obama to Mamdani… politicians trash capitalism.

Their words aren’t harmless, says Economist Don Boudreaux.

“Negative words… kept investors on the sidelines, kept unemployment higher.”

Myths about Great Depression and Great Recession are busted here as John Stossel interviews Boudreaux.

Didn’t See This Coming!

Liz Wheeler examines three commentators who used to be certified conservative but are now sounding and acting like leftists.

What’s their problem with conservatism? We know they have a fixation against President Donald Trump, but do they want to burn down all of Western civilization?

Are they just two-bit mouthpieces for the CIA or for some Arab state like Qatar? Why should we ever again listen to a single word any of these disgraceful clowns ever say? Here’s more from Wheeler.

Socialism, Trump And Salvation

This resurrection week we are reminded of the differences between ourselves and our Democrat and Socialist neighbors. They wave Communist flags during “No Kings” protests, steal money and take lives, and scorn the faith that is our only true source of freedom. Here’s more from Lori Colley.
