Gazing Into the Past

When you gaze at the stars, you’re actually looking at light that took years to travel to Earth. In other words, you’re seeing how stars looked in the past. This is just one of some mind-blowing facts in this edition of AsapSCIENCE.

Abusing the First Amendment

Alfonzo Rachel reminds us again that our First Amendment is under heavy attack. Pro-abortion activists are forcing Christian-owned businesses to give up their religious freedom. In addition, they continue to use the Girl Scouts of America as a front to fund Planned Parenthood. We all have religious freedom, as long as those freedoms don’t infringe on our right to life, liberty, pursuit of happiness and property.

Says Rachel in this episode of “Zonation” on PJTV, “Liberals like to say freedom from religion. That’s not what the Constitution says. But I understand that liberals like to twist the Constitution to suit their selfish world view. OK, fine. You can have freedom from religion, if that’s what you want the Constitution to say. But what goes for freedom of religion, also goes for freedom from religion. Because just as freedom from religion cannot be exercised as depriving others of their rights, freedom from religion cannot be exercised of depriving others of their rights.” Check out the episode as Rachel explains.

UK’s Progressive Atrocity

In the 18th century, Gulliver’s Travels author Jonathan Swift sarcastically called for eating the young to feed the Irish poor. Fast forward to the progressive 21st century and Swift would be horrified to learn that babies aren’t being eaten, but incinerated by the thousands in United Kingdom hospitals. Join Bill Whittle in this edition of PJTV’s “Afterburner” as he rips this modern-day atrocity, a possible prelude to America’s Affordable Care Act.

A Productive President

The 10th president of the United States, John Tyler, fathered more children than any other commander in chief. He had eight children with his first wife and seven with his second spouse. This is one of 43 of trivia-tastic facts about American presidents from Mental Floss, hosted by John Green.

March Madness in D.C.

Jodi Miller says March Madness is in full swing. “No, not the NCAA Tournament,” she says, “but President Obama pushing Obamacare despite the fact that nobody wants it.” In this edition of NewsBusted, Miller also features Vladimir Putin, Jimmy Carter, Ellen DeGeneres, Jimmy Fallon, Kevin Trudeau and voter fraud.

What Stinkin’ Recovery?

Glenn Reynolds of PJTV’s “Instavision” says that if you believe President Obama, we’ve recovered from the worst economic crisis since the Great Depression. But the unemployment malaise continues, fewer people are actually looking for work and the housing market remains sluggish. Reynolds talks with Terry Jones and Andrew Malcolm of Investor’s Business Daily, who discuss whether another housing bubble is on the horizon.

O’Reilly Calls Media Dishonest

Fox News’ Bill O’Reilly, host of “The O’Reilly Factor,” says the coverage of  Malaysian Flight 370 has been embarrassing, irresponsible and dishonest. Featuring breaking news that the jetliner mystery has been solved in the “Talking Points” segment of  “The Factor,” O’Reilly said, “It was obvious from the facts that the pilots, or pilots, took the plane off course and it crashed. But the media misled you. It exploited the airliner story to manipulate viewership.” Listen in, as O’Reilly rips into the media.

Political Brain Drain

Take away their script, they babble aimlessly. Take away their teleprompters, they’re lost in space. In this edition of “Trifecta,” on PJTV, hosts Stephen Green, Scott Ott and Bill Whittle discuss the brain drain on our politicians, including the master perpetrator, President Obama.

Hanging With the Ugg Girls

Kerry and Lu and the Ugg Girls invade a British mall, much to the dismay of security guards, in this edition of BBC Comedy. Don’t forget to come on back here to LOL next Tuesday for another look at the lighter side of life.–The Wickel

Bankers Get Free Pass

When Barack Obama took office in 2009, he promised to vigorously prosecute those who sold sub-prime mortgages to people who they knew couldn’t afford them, then passing them off to bankers as rock-solid investments. History tells us the double-whammy led to the country’s financial collapse of 2007-2008. Dick Morris tells us the majority of these mortgage-fraud bankers got off scott free, while many Americans are still suffering the after-effects of the crisis.
