Nazi Flying Saucers

Two stunning films show German “flying discs” perfected by the Nazis in WWII. If these films are real — and not forgeries — then it’s clear that reports we have heard through the years of flying saucers might actually just be craft perfected by German scientists, technicians and craftsmen brought to America after the war ended, as part of Operation Paperclip. These films were published on YouTube near the end of May by Jeff Rense. We visit his website periodically to read news reports, mostly by Japanese journalist Yoichi Shimatsu, dealing with Pizzagate, Satanists, NXIVM, Jeffrey Epstein and related topics. In other words, all the news the news never prints!

Mars, Germany and the Secret Space Program. While the idea of anti-gravity space flight, or a breakaway German colony on the Moon, or a subterranean UFO base in Antarctica, might all sound like science fiction, what can be said for certain is that they are not new ideas, nor do not seem to be easily explained away. If anti-gravity and free energy technology exists, as some have claimed, then why is it being kept secret? Could there really be a breakaway civilization that uses such advanced technology, or a secret space force, as some eyewitnesses have claimed. And if so, how would the government go about disclosing any of this, assuming it actually wanted to?

Notice Melania Trump’s fashion sense. Seems inspired by flying saucers, don’t you think?

What’s Beneath Antartica?

The continent of Antartica is inhospitable, desolate and mysterious. Covered in ice for 35 million years, Antartica is the planet’s fifth-largest continent, yet holds 70 percent of its fresh water. But what would we find if all that ice melted? Host Ben Bowlin takes on the challenge of the question with some assumptions of his own in this revealing edition of How Stuff Works.

Beware of Ocean Confetti

There’s no doubting that plastic has revolutionized our planet. It’s cheap, durable and expendable. But although we reap the benefits of plastic, it’s long-term effect on our future is dismal. In this edition of MinuteEarth, Henry Reich says that once plastic is dumped in our oceans, it doesn’t go away. “Which is why we’ve found micro-plastics pretty much everywhere in the oceans, from the Arctic to the Antarctic and from the sea floor to the surface.”

Brrr! -135.8 Below Zero!

It was recently revealed that the coldest moment ever recorded on Earth occurred in 2010 in East Anarctica, when the temperature dipped to an agonizing -135.8 below zero, shattering the old mark of -128.6 in Vostok, Antarctica. Only one problem: The number was measured by a weather satellite, which apparently doesn’t fly with organizations such as the Guinness Book of World Records and The World Meteorological Organization. Says Elliott Morgan of SourceFed, “Those uppity groups require thermometer measurements for authentication.” Join Morgan and co-host Joe Bereta as they review the coldest thermometer readings across the globe.

Brits Halt Antarctic Project

British scientists have called off a $13 million drilling project that was an attempt to search for traces of prehistoric life at Lake Ellsworth in Antarctica. The project could be resumed in the future, but first some daunting technical challenges must be overcome.

Antarctic Ice Mass Grows

Scientists are observing record growth in the sea ice extending out from Antarctica. Northward winds are driving the annual growth, amounting to an area roughly equal to the size of Connecticut. This Antarctic expansion comes at the same time that the polar ice cap in the Arctic has been shrinking. Robert Lee Hotz from the Wall Street Journal has the details

Flat Earthers Take Aim at NASA

Conspiracy theorists organized under the banner of the Flat Earth Society have targeted NASA, charging the space agency uses fake and altered images to support the idea that Earth is round. The society believes our planet more closely resembles a thin wafer, with the frozen ice packs of Antarctica stretching along the Earth’s outer limits to keep the oceans from draining off.  Formed in 1956, the society is small — fewer than 1,000 members — but global in scope. Its most-famous member: The British musician Thomas Dolby (“She Blinded Me With Science”). H/T SourceFed
