First results from a universal basic income (UBI) study in Stockton, California, shows that free money makes people happy, and that they spend most of it on basic needs like food and utilities, rather than on drugs, alcohol or gambling. Stockton Mayor Michael Tubbs wants his $500 per month stipend experiment done statewide. Do these early results in a small-scale study bolster Democrat presidential candidate Andrew Yang’s White House run as he campaigns on a nationwide $1000 per month UBI plan? Warren Now Paces Democrats

With Joe Biden’s campaign reeling over corruption charges, looks like Elizabeth Warren is reaping the spoils. She has emerged as the new Democratic Party frontrunner for the 2020 Presidential race. Elizabeth Warren Moving Up

Looks like Elizabeth Warren is moving on up to the Eastside. Latest 2020 poll analysis suggests she has been the big winner so far in the Democratic primary race. Meanwhile, Bernie Sanders and Kamala Harris are sliding, while Joe Biden is hanging in there, but not really sewing up anything. Styxhexenhammer666 offers his take.

Two Senators and two presidential hopefuls have eliminated due process from their understanding of the Constitution in the instance of Brett Kavanaugh and now they are back at it on the anniversary of the death of Michael Brown, telling the nation it was a murder even after the police officer involved was exonerated. This should eliminate these two lawmakers form the presidential race and any other positions of power. Bill O’Reilly explains on this week’s Talking Points Memo.

Harris, Warren Should Be Dq’d

Senators and presidential candidates, Kamala Harris and Elizabeth Warren have doubled down on their attacks on Brett Kavanaugh and Michael Brown, due process and the Constitution be damned. Harris and Warren renewed their contention that Brown was murdered in the wildly publicized Ferguson, Missouri, incident, despite evidence in an FBI investigation to the contrary. And both women “convicted” Supreme Court Justice Brett Kavanaugh during his Congressional hearing despite evidence to the contrary.

“Not only is this absurd and should be disqualifying for both of these women, they shouldn’t even get one vote for what they have done with Kavanaugh and Michael Brown,” says political commentator Bill O’Reilly. He elaborates on the “Talking Points Memo” segment of the Bill O’Reilly Channel.

Democratic Pool Thinning Out

Styxhexenhammer666 examines the latest polls taken after the first Democratic debates. As expected, they show upward swings for some candidates, particularly Kamala Harris, and stagnant or downward numbers for most of the leaders — Joe Biden, Bernie Sanders and Elizabeth Warren. Those four are the top candidates. Any others above 5 percent? Perhaps only one, Pete Buddigieg, with Cory Booker and Tulsi Gabbard percolating just below that point.

You might as well drive a stake through the hearts of the other 13 or so Democratic challengers. They are dead in the water.

Dick Morris also sees Kamala Harris as the biggest winner from the first two debates. Here, in a pair of videos, he discusses how she clearly cleaned Uncle Joe Biden’s clock and how Biden is slip, slipping away.
