The latest resurgence of racial violence across the nation has revived the movement to remove monuments and statues of the Confederacy from the public arena. The most recent came from Speaker Nancy Pelosi, who is calling for the removal of 11 statues of Confederate leaders from the Capitol building in Washington. Not surprisingly, nine of these leaders were members of the Democratic Party.
Take Jefferson Davis, who served as the president of the Confederate States from 1861 to 1865. As a member of the Democratic Party, he represented Mississippi in the U. S. Senate and the House of Representatives before the American Civil War. Then there was Edward Douglass White, who left school and enlisted in the Confederate Army. At the conclusion of the Civil War, he served as a Democratic senator from Louisiana and later was appointed to the Supreme Court. These are just a couple of many Confederate Leaders who faithfully served the Democrats, the party of slavery, Jim Crow and segregation.

George Washington High School in San Francisco, Calif., is thinking of removing its Washington murals because they “traumatize” the students. That’s right. These students are so fragile and so frigging dumb they can’t handle being in the proximity of images showing the first American president.
Obviously, it’s time President Donald Trump took action and began dumping illegal aliens in cities like San Francisco that no longer think they are part of the United States. Lauren Southern says you might as well say goodbye to history now that folks are taking down so many “offensive” statues. Southern doesn’t just think the radical Antifa cry-babies have gone too far. She also chastises Trump supporters who recently marched in Seattle, calling for the mayor to bring down a sculpture depicting the Communist leader Lenin.
It may be several months before the National Park Service is able to reopen the Statue of Liberty following storm-related damage caused by Hurricane Sandy. The landmark is one of New York’s most popular tourist attractions, visited by four million annually. The one saving grace: The hurricane did not cause significant damage to the statue itself, only to walkways, outbuildings, docks and mechanical infrastructure that can all be repaired.
