Federal Chopping Block Expands

More than 4,200 federal workers have lost their jobs as the Democrats maintain their shutdown of the federal government. Russell Vought, director of the Office of Management and Budget, says the first of the RIFs (Reduction In Force) have begun.

The largest pool of fired workers came from the Health and Human Services Department, which shed about 1,200 positions. More than 400 jobs were cut in the Education Department. These workers will not return. Their positions will vanish although the workers could presumably be rehired for another post.

Additional RIF cutbacks are expected over the next week. President Donald Trump and Vought are prepared to raise the ante, should the Democrats refuse to reopen the federal government. Here’s more from Matt Morse TV.

Where Are The DOGE Cuts?

Amid the heated debate between Donald Trump and Elon Musk over the “Big, Beautiful Bill,” Trump’s Office of Management and Budget director Russ Vought joins Glenn Beck to clear a few things up.

Is raising the debt ceiling a terrible move? Where are all the DOGE cuts? What happens to Trump’s agenda if the bill isn’t passed? Here’s more from Blaze TV.

RINOs: Corrupt As Democrats

President Donald Trump has promised to team up with Congressional Republicans to pass a “big, beautiful bill,” chock full of campaign promises, like “no tax on tips,” “no tax on overtime,” and major spending cuts. But as the bill’s progress drags on, are the Republicans to blame, is Trump starting to compromise too much and will he allow Democrats to increase taxes for the rich?

Trump’s Director of the Office of Management and Budget Russell Vought joins Glenn Beck to address the criticism. He discusses what Trump’s real strategy is, whether the bill will restore government spending to 2019 levels, how DOGE has been helping, whether the bureaucracy will actually shrink, and whether Congress will codify any of Trump’s policy changes. Here’s more from Blaze TV.

Democrats Defeated Again

The Democrats lost both Congressional special elections today in Georgia and South Carolina, as the Leftist party remains mired in a losing streak that shows no signs of letting up. In South Carolina, Republican Ralph Norman beat back Democrat Archie Parnell to hold control of the seat vacated by Mick Mulvaney, tapped by President Donald Trump to serve as director of the Office of Management and Budget. In Georgia, in a Congressional district encompassing the suburbs of Atlanta, Republican Karen Mandel won by about 5 percent over Democrat Jon Ossoff.

The liberal press, of course, had been agitating for an Ossoff victory and the race became the most expensive in US history. But as Greg Gutfeld pointed out today on Fox News, while Ossoff was the darling of liberal California donors, he never connected with the folks from Georgia.

ARVE error: need id and provider

One of these years, the Democrats might actually start winning some races again. But first, they are going to need to do what parties normally do following massive defeats, and that’s engage in some real, honest soul searching and try to formulate a few plans and positions that will appeal to a majority of voters. Just turning violent and more radical, and frothing at the mouth over Trump, and blaming the Russians for all of their boondoggles, is never going to appeal to a majority of Americans.

Russians did it

And take a look at the faces of the newscasters over at CNN. Someone ought to drop them off some cookies and milk!
