The U.S. Supreme Court rejected the tariffs that President Donald Trump had been imposing to try to balance out foreign trade, but not everyone thinks this spells doom for the U.S. economy. Here, And We Know explains how Trump has a secondary plan up his sleeve, ready to roll out now that the Justices have shown their hands.
Only three of the Justices approved the original Trump tariffs — Justice Samuel Alito, Clarence Thomas and Brett Kavenaugh. Those voting against him included the three Democratic appointees as well as Chief Justice John Roberts and the two other Republicans appointed by Trump in his first term — Neil Gorsuch and Amy Coney Barrett. How will Trump get around these opponents? Is there a way to bypass such an unresponsive Court?
And We Now lays out the options, and also covers: Negotiating from strength and the details of IEEPA law. This is so-called International Economic Emergencies Power Act, allowing the President to regulate international commerce during periods of a declared national emergency.
A Congressional hearing with Treasury Secretary Scott Bessent turns crazy, as the leftist Democrats turn whack-a-doodle. Unsuprisingly, the biggest nutjob of the bunch was the 87-year-old U.S. Rep. Maxine Waters. She couldn’t stomach Bessent’s testimony on inflation, declaring outright, “Can you shut him up?” Someone should have shut that old bat up years ago. She is a walking testimony on why we need term limits for Congress!
As the Democrats kept up their hypochondria and screaming, the American public has awaken to the shocking truths buried in the long-suppressed Jeffrey Epstein files. These are monsters we’re dealing with — not only political adversaries, but outright Satanist pedophiles and the unequivocal scum of the Earth.
Are Georgia arrests coming after the FBI’s raid on the Atlanta elections records center? It certainly appears there will be much more coming in that volatile story. In the meantime, continue to pray! Here’s more from And We Know.
I believe what is going on at Turning Point USA is so much worse than anything I have talked about so far.
It is so bad that it would implicate the entire leadership at Turning Point, and it has to do with ballot harvesting. Here’s more from Wolves and Finance.
Here, Viva Frei answers the charges leveled by Wolves and Finance. We figured those charges were serious enough to warrant carrying a rebuttal.
Otherwise, Viva Frei deals with New York’s refusal to take federal aid related to Winter Storm Fern, presumably out of Gov. Kathy Hochul’s fears about ICE. Also covered: ICE Director Tom Homan traveling to Minneapolis in an effort to reason with Gov. Tim Walz and the case of Aaron Spencer, an Arkansas man facing murder charges after killing a child pervert who had been accused of molesting Spencer’s 14-year-old daughter.
U.S. President Donald Trump goes right into the heart of the beast — the World Economic Forum in Davos, Switzerland — to impress upon the Europeans that they must out a deal with the United States over Greenland. It doesn’t necessarily mean Greenland becomes a U.S. territory.
It could simply mean housing elements of the Golden Dome, the U.S. missile defense system that Trump plans to use to protect against any Inter-Continental Ballistic Missiles (ICBMs) fired from Russia against Washington D.C. Treasury Secretary Scott Bessent spells out varied options.
Trump highlighted all that the United States has done to protect Europe, ranging from stationing American troops in Germany to aiding the European Union’s campaign to safeguard the Ukraine. But he also rattled a stick, warning of tariffs and sterner measures if the security concerns of the United States go unaddressed.
Funny how now that the defense issue at hand involves North American, the Europeans aren’t so cooperative as they always expected from us. Here’s more from Robert Gouveia on Watching The Watchers.
Mind you, not all of the Europeans are hardened globalists or absolute turncoats. There are leaders of individual nations taking a more open approach.
Here, commentator Steve Turley discusses the arguments of Italy’s Prime Minister Giorgia Meloni. She said European and North American countries need to frame “a coordinated presence” in the Arctic region to prevent tensions and interference “from other actors.”
As the evening drew to a close, details leaked on a major new deal that will preserve Greenland’s independent status as well as its ties to Denmark and Europe, but there will apparently be provisions to allow the United States to proceed with the Golden Dome.
The United States will also employ its expertise with mining to help Greenland develop its rare earth minerals. This will provide for a new source of these minerals to be obtained without bending the knee to Communist China or Russia.
This looks like a classic example of The Art of the Deal. Trump wanted changes, but had no desire to invade Greenland or seize it as territory. He simply wanted this stretch of North America to reflect some North American sensibilities and needs. Here’s more from Matt Morse TV.
U.S. Treasury Secretary Scott Bessent says a rare earths deal with China could be finalized by Thanksgiving, expressing confidence that Beijing will honor its commitments following high-level talks between President Trump and President Xi.
Bessent also forecasts strong U.S. economic growth in early 2026 under Trump’s economic plan. He appears here with Maria Bartiromo on Fox News.
