Where’s Christopher Wray?

Ric Grenell, former director of national intelligence, obliterates FBI chief Christopher Wray for doing absolutely nothing to squelch the political bias that runs rampant through his agency.

Appearing on the ACLJ podcast, with hosts Jay and Jordan Sekulow, Grenell says the government is supposed to be for the people, but has gone awry under Wray’s leadership. “Chris Wray knew that FBI agents were politicizing investigations and he didn’t care,” Grenell says. Here’s the interview.

Unfounded Conspiracy Theories?

The ACLJ team of Jay and Jordan Sekulow dissect The New York Times‘ recent attack on conservatives for what they deemed “unfounded conspiracy theories” regarding the IRS.

Almost as if commissioned by the Biden Administration, The Times was clearly trying to paint conservatives in a paranoid, unhinged light. ACLJ brings more analysis, plus breaks down the direction of the Biden DOJ and IRS.

FBI Messed Up Bigtime

The ACLJ reports that among the items wrongfully confiscated by the FBI from Mar-a-Lago were President Trump’s passports. ACLJ says the FBI were forced to return the documents after being called out.

Adding fuel to the political fire, the FBI didn’t have the decency to return the passports to Florida, instead holding on to them for a week, then telling Trump he could pick them up in Washington, D.C. Here’s more with the Jay Sekulow Team on ACLJ.

Biden Tests Positive For Covid

ACLJ’s Jay Sekulow reports that White House Press Secretary Karine Jean-Pierre has announced President Joe Biden has tested positive for COVID-19. Sekulow says Biden’s symptoms are minimal, he’s on the anti-viral medication Paxlovid and will be working out of the White House. Sekulow and the rest of the ACLJ team analyze the ramifications of the report.

Meanwhile, Just Informed Talk sorts out the mysterious way in which Biden announced that he has cancer. While the liberal media are now panning the announcement as a gaffe, JustInformed Talk believes it stands to reason this might truly be the path taken by the Democrat Party to finally replace Biden. Here’s his take.

Iran Is Nuke Ready

ACLJ reports that Iran is crowing about its capability to produce nuclear bombs. Kamal Kharrazi, advisor to Iranian Supreme Leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei, claimed over the weekend that Iran now has the technical means to produce the bomb, but hasn’t made a decision on whether to build one. Jay, Jordan and Logan Sekulow delve into the issue and the state of Iran-U.S. relations.

Massive Wake-Up Call

The Supreme Court decision in the Dobbs v. Jackson Women’s Health Organization case was the linchpin that overturned Roe v. Wade.

The ACLJ’s Jay and Jordan Sekulow provide legal analysis of the arguments made and the continued battle for life ahead. The Sekulows and the rest of the ACLJ crew also discuss the historic decision and the launch of a 50-state campaign to defend babies and defeat abortion.

What’s Next In Post-Roe Era?

Jay and Jordan Sekulow, hosts of the American Center for Law and Justice, and the rest of their legal team, break down the historic Supreme Court decision to overturn Roe v. Wade and opine on what happens next in the fight for life in the post-Roe era.

Will SCOTUS Gut Roe v. Wade?

When the Supreme Court decides the fate of Roe v. Wade this summer, will their decision call for a complete reversal of the law, or will it be watered down to where there’s little restriction on abortions. ACLJ’s Jordan Sekulow, Jay Sekulow and senior counsel Frank Manion dig into the details and tell us what’s coming next.

IRS Overreach

Harry Hutchison, senior counsel and director of policy for the American Center for Law and Justice (ACLJ) says the left’s proposal regarding the IRS would lead to extreme overreach affecting the majority of Americans.

According to the Wall Street Journal, the IRS is proposing a $10,000 price-target tax dragnet on American bank accounts to trigger more audits, a move that doesn’t sit well with Hutchison and the ACLJ. “The Democrats want access to data with no probable cause, no warrant, no court order,” Hutchison says. “Basically, they say that every single thing that you do as an American citizen on a given day is subject to their approval.” He explains further.

Roe v. Wade Reversal On Track

There has not been a case on track to reverse Roe v. Wade quite like Dobbs v. Jackson Women’s Health Organization in Mississippi. The challenge arose after Mississippi law banned abortion after 15 weeks.

In response, the state of Mississippi asked the U.S. Supreme Court to overturn Roe v. Wade and allow for individual states to ban abortion after the judicially created viability point that has been cited in the past. One of the prominent reasons Roe v. Wade has been able to remain law for decades is a legal precedent called stare decisis. ACLJ Senior Counsel Andy Ekonomou says, “It is not a bar. It is a judicially created principle that espouses the idea that cases decided the same way should be decided the same way on the same facts of law. But it does not prohibit the Supreme Court or any court to say we got it wrong, and we need to rectify by reversing Roe v. Wade in this case.” More on the historic case from “Sekulow” on the ACLJ blog.
