Hollywood Pushing Censorship

More than 250 Hollywood actors and other “notables” sign a letter demanding that Big Tech censor Americans with whom they disagree. In a letter to Facebook, YouTube and others, GLAAD demands more take-downs of “hateful” material, mostly dealing with transgenders. You have to wonder: How long should we put up with these leftists? When should we begin establishing censorship boards for Hollywood movies?

Among those pushing the swill: Amy Schumer, Ariana Grande, Demi Lovato, Jamie Lee Curtis, Judd Apatow and Patrick Stewart. Here’s more from Robert Gouveia on Watching The Watchers.

Horrible People

The “Right Angle” crew dissect the plight of an old church building in Manhattan, where the congregation can no longer afford its upkeep, so they agreed to sell it for $30 million, which thy planned to use for feeding the homeless and other worthy charitable aims.

Enter Hollyweird! Actor Mark Ruffalo, comedian Amy Schumer and other rich and powerful celebrities, who once rehearsed in the building, blocked the sale of the property. These multimillionaires could have simply bought the property, but instead went to court and started a crowdfunding campaign so that other people could pay for their cherished space.

Satanists’ BS Show At Oscars

By now, you’ve probably seen scores of columns interpreting the Will Smith/Chris Rock dustup at the Oscars. But you probably haven’t seen this Biblical analysis that appears to hit the hammer right on the head of the snake.

On the other side of the coin, an ebullient Sen. Lindsey Graham, R-S.C., says he’s going to campaign for the first time to defeat some of his colleagues. It says a lot that a guy who was pretty critical of Trump, and has tried to be fair to the other side, gets completely energized and angrily animated by the unfairness of the attacks on Kavanaugh.

Kavanaugh Has The Votes!

It’s looking more likely Brett Kavanaugh will be appointed the next Justice for the U.S. Supreme Court. Both Susan Collins, R-Maine, and Joe Manchin, D-W. Virginia, announced Friday that they plan to vote in favor of Kavanaugh’s appointment. Previously, they had been undecided. Likely, Kavanaugh will draw 50 or 51 votes —  a slim majority — but still a majority, and enough to end the impasse over his nomination. Anthony Brian Logan has more.
