Was Cartel Hit A CIA Operation?

Is an American now in charge of the CJNG — the Jalisco New Generation Cartel, one of the most powerful of cartels in Mexico? The cartel was previously operated by Nemesio Oseguera Cervar, nicknamed “El Mencho.” He died over the weekend after his crew got embroiled in a deadly gun battle with the Mexican military, prompting gang violence across the country.

Katarina Szulc, a Canadian investigative reporter, has become one of the experts on gang and cartel violence, often reporting from Mexico and Colombia through her blog Borderlands: Dispatches. She says one mystery has been resolved. El Mencho apparently had a succession plan, as his American-born stepson, Juan Carlos Valencia González , has supposedly emerged as the new leader of CJNG.

But several questions remain. For instance, will there be any internal violence within the gang — anyone seeking to carve out some territory for themselves? Does the new leader have the muscle — and the brains — to survive? Also, did the CIA play any role in Sunday’s shootout. Is it intertwined at all in CJNG? Congress Journeys To Columbus

Epstein’s longtime patron and financial benefactor, Leslie Wexner, was finally brought before lawmakers on Wednesday — but not in a congressional hearing room, not under the glare of cameras, and not in Washington.

Pedos Smeared Michael Jackson

One of the major revelations from the Epstein files is that Michael Jackson appears to have been framed by the very people who WERE abusing children.

In the 1990s, Jackson was accused of sexually abusing children. One case led to a civil settlement, which Michael Jackson said that he wishes he had not done. Another did lead to a criminal trial and he was acquitted on all charges.

Winter Storm Fern: Engineered!

Will The Electric Grid Collapse?

A devastating winter storm scheduled to hit the American South, Prairie Heartland and Midwest this weekend could lead to a collapse of the national electric grid, a catastrophe much worse than the July rainstorm that produced catastrophic floods across Texas last summer.

Here, Clayton and Natalie Morris — the co-hosts of Redacted News — issue a high warning about the sprawling storm front. It’s expected to sweep across the nation Saturday and Sunday, fueled by moisture from the Pacific. As that torrent of moisture meets with a cold front descending from Canada, it could wreak havoc across 35 states.

The storm front is expected to arise around Texas and Oklahoma, before dropping snow, ice and sleet over the Prairies and Midwest, as well as such southern states as Tennessee and even northern Mississippi and Alabama. The storm will eventually slam the Atlantic Coast, before heading out to the ocean.
