Why Is China Afraid Of Truth?

Here, The Edge of Wonder tackles the coronavirus coming out of China, giving a much-more detailed, lively and informative presentation of the truth. We’re not only talking about facts that the Chinese Communist Party hides, but also the biased and Leftist slanting American mass media. Here is The Edge of Wonder intro:

With all the craziness surrounding the #Coronavirus, we thought we’d shed some light on the subject and give you all the Edge of Wonder perspective. There is a lot of misinformation being spread along with many conspiracies so we dug through it all and will present what we found. However, the questions on everyone’s mind is how dangerous is this virus that was apparently started in #Wuhan and was this virus a natural #outbreak or something much darker? And if it is then what would be the purpose and why? We’ll also get into what the role the mainstream media has played in all this, and if and how they have any economic ties to the #Chinese Communist Party (CCP) in #China.

This is part 1. We will return with Part 2 when it is available.

Coronavirus epidemic update 16 by pulmonologist & sleep specialist Dr. Seheult . Includes a comparison of confirmed cases and deaths within China vs. countries outside China. Dr. Seheult illustrates practical things we can do to boost our immunity / immune response to viral infections like the novel coronavirus based on peer-reviewed studies. More from MedCram.

China has revamped its reporting rules. As part of the revamp, two of its mid-level Commie bosses got fired. The end result: We are seeing a bit more accurate totals now, but probably still quite fudged to downplay the extent of the disease. All told, there are now about 65,000 cases worldwide and 1,400 deaths. There are eight new cases in Singapore, so they are under the gun. More from Styxhexenhammer666.

Oh, boy…the scientific research on covid-19 (the new name of the Wuhan coronavirus) continues to reveal what a huge challenge containing this virus is. A new report from Los Alamos Labs calculates its R0 at between 4.7 to 6.6. That is massively contagious!

It’s little wonder then why we’re seeing more and more reports of doctors and health workers falling sick, despite using proper PPE and contamination protocol.

China, which bumped up the number of total infected within the country by 33% last night, is clearly facing a public health nightmare of epic proportion. As we keep saying, we think the true reality on the ground there is even much worse than the official numbers we’re being given. That said, China’s totalitarian approach of mandatory home quarantine for hundred of millions of people is likely the best way to fight a virus this contagious. Nore from Chris Martenson.

Here is a report from Shenzhen, a city in southern China  just across the border with Hong Kong. Shenzhen, boasting a population of 12.9 million, is full of apartment complexes. They are shown here. Residents now face daily monitoring. No visitors are allowed to come to their apartments. The once-bustling shopping mall in the city is now a virtual no-man’s land. Street are empty. Everything is eerie. More from BusanKevin.

Cities At Greatest Risk

The coronavirus continues its spread through China and surrounding Asian countries. The data increasingly show that this virus is wickedly contagious, especially in crowded environments where population density is high — like the densely-packed buildings in cities. As a frightening example: in Japan, a health worker was infected while inspecting a quarantined cruise ship, despite wearing a hazmat suit and taking standard precautions.

On the more positive side, we are hearing “success” stories from those who have now recovered from the virus. These are mostly folks who had less serious cases, which is around 80% of those infected. But, on the more concerning side, evidence is showing that those who recover may not have immunity from catching the virus again. And, that a second infection could potentially result in a much more serious threat to life.

As usual, we still need more detail before drawing hard conclusions. There are many elements still unknown about this virus — such as why the rate of spread appears much lower outside of China than within. We remain committed to scouring the news and science wires until we have the answers. More from Chris Martenson.

The number of Coronavirus cases is rapidly escalating. There are now more than 60,000 confirmed cases and several new epicenters — the bulk of them still in China, but now quarantines are happening elsewhere as well. There’s a new case in California, meaning that state now has at least seven known patients. Styxhexenhammer666 provides his daily update.

80 Cities Now Quarantined

The mass media might be downplaying it, but the coronavirus has now resulted in 80 cities being quarantined, including Beijing. In other words, it’s proving to be more resilient and deadly than either SARS or MEMS. We don’t know yet if or even when the coronavirus might be as serious in the Western world, but the director of WHO — the World Health Organization — is issuing some ominous warnings. More from Lisa Haven.

Styxhexenhammer666 says containment is going to be difficult, if not impossible, with over 43,000 cases of coronavirus now being reported. The number of dead now exceeds 1,000. There are shortages in Singapore. China is changing its disease definitions, apparently to try to reduce panic. Styx says Japan is downplaying the severity as well.  Do not be fooled. Neither country is winning its fight against this highly contagious disease.

Former CIA case officer Robert David Steele joins the SGTReport to discuss the deadly Coronavirus, and his theories regarding its true origins.

A new report finds that the incubation period for the coronavirus may be as long as 24 days, 10 days longer than previous expected. That means that the potential size of “infected & contagious yet unaware” masses walking around (outside of China’s quarantine borders) could be substantially larger than feared.

On top of that, additional data from China’s hospitals in Wuhan show that once a patient is hospitalized, meaning their condition has become severe, the death rate is very high (~20%). More reinforcement that you want to avoid this virus if at all possible.

And yet, the stock market remains unconcerned to the pandemic threat. Another up day, despite a warning from the Council on Foreign Relations on the fragility of the US economy’s dependence on Chinese supply chains. Scary stat: 97% of all US antibiotics come from China.

Meanwhile, many regions in China are extending their ‘return to work’ deadlines as efforts to fight the outbreak continue. As we’ve been saying daily now, at some point, the markets are going to have to acknowledge the large and growing lack of economic production that is not occurring. More from Chris Martenson.

Coronavirus: Virus Politics

Mass infection is now happening. More than 15,000 have been infected. The first cases have been reported in New York City and Boston. In Wenzhou, there have been riots. Apple stores across China have closed. There are now several epicenters in China. It appears China is ordering cremations for all victims of the coronavirus who die. The disease is no longer doubling, but there’s still a substantial rise. Styxhexenhammer666 brings us this update. He urges listeners to do basic preparations. Have some food stocks in case supplies become scarce in your vicinity. Consider getting a camp stove if there’s a chance your electricity or gasoline is cut off.

In a video entitled Virus Politics, Ramzpaul looks into scientific research indicating the coronavirus might be much more of a problem for Asians than other peoples. He goes back in time to compare coronavirus to AIDs and how it impacted primarily gay men.

One caveat: In Germany, where the virus has now appeared, it’s spreading among European whites, so it might be premature to say only Asians will be impacted. It could be: They are more impacted, but others also can be impacted. We just don’t know enough yet.

Longtime friend of SGT Report Will Lehr from Perpetual Assets joins me to discuss the coronavirus and the impact it’s already having on global markets and the economy. Is the rapid spread of this “new” virus the black swan event that will bring down the global economic house of cards?

Corona Chan has doomed us all. But the mainstream media still defends and shills for China. More from Mr. Obvious.

If you want to see how backward a Communist regime can be, consider how China arrested and cracked down on the first doctors who tried to communicate with each other about coronavirus. These were not ordinary citizens spreading wild rumors, but physicians who spotted the first cases and were in a position to stop the spread of the virus when it was just getting started. Instead of backing them up, the regime detained them and forced them to sign confessions. Dumb Communists!
