Boelter Popped Near Home!

KSTP, the ABC affiliate in Minneapolis, says Vance Luther Boelter was apprehended around 10 p.m. Sunday. Minnesota State Police took the fugitive into custody in a heavily wooded area within Sibley County, just southwest of his Green Isle home.

Boelter had stunned Minnesotans with a brazen  act of political assassination, allegedly killing two victims and wounding two others in the early morning hours on Saturday. Boelter’s wife Jennifer also was detained Sunday, taken into custody after she was found in a car containing weapons, cash and passports. Like her husband, she also worked previously for Minnesota Gov. Tim Walz, starting in 2010 as an intern.

Meanwhile, we are learning more about a hit list found in Boetler’s abandoned security vehicle. Some 70 individuals were identified as being targets for assassination, among them, Walz himself, as well as Minnesota Attorney General Keith Ellison, U.S. Rep. Ilhan Omar and U.S. Sen. Tina Smith — all Democrats from Minnesota.

Those attacked Saturday by Boelter included a former Speaker of the Minnesota House,  Melissa Hortman, and her husband, both murdered, and State Sen. John Hoffmanm along with his wife, both shot multiple times and still in critical condition. In his home attacks on Saturday, Boelter wore a mask bearing the likeness of Walter White, the villain from TV show Breaking Bad. Here’s more from Viva Frei.

Minnesota Voters Are Livid

An 11th-hour, politically motivated maneuver from Minnesota Gov. Tim Waltz and Attorney General Keith Ellison turned a prospective monster Trump rally in Rochester into what could of been mistaken as a typical Biden-Harris event. With a crowd estimated at 30,000 stranded outside the venue, Waltz limited the rally to 250 people, citing COVID-19 concerns. Acknowledging the huge crowd as American patriots, President Trump admonished Waltz and Ellison as radical Democrats.

Journalist Raymond Arroyo, a frequent contributor to Fox News, spoke with livid voters who were shut out of the event and the mood was understandably testy. Said one female voter from Minneapolis, “It’s classic. Gov. Waltz is trying to shut down Trump, he’s trying to shut down America and he has shut down Minnesota. So why let something be successful and let people have freedom.” Another was terse in his response: “Let’s get rid of him,” he said of Waltz. “We want our state back.” Here’s more of Arroyo’s interaction with the crowd.

What If Police Are Defunded?

Dave Rubin of The Rubin Report talks to Dana Loesch (Author, Grace Canceled) about liberty, freedom and civil disobedience in a time of lockdown, riots, and civil unrest. Dana discusses the riots and protests in response to police brutality and the involvement of Black Lives Matter and Antifa. She also discusses how some Americans are rethinking their feelings on guns and gun control when they hear more extreme policies like defunding the police gaining more traction.

Dana also discusses how people like Keith Ellison and others have helped normalize violence and how extreme elements have taken over the Democratic party. Dana discusses how there is a new wave of first time gun owners, a lot of whom are women. Finally Dana offers her advice for how people new to guns should proceed and recommends some of her favorite models.

We doubt this defund the police movement will get very far. Why? Crime rates are already going through the roof. Crime is surging — a consequence of rewarding so many bad actors. The pendulum can never swing so far, so fast.  We expect voters to swing toward the right — and a call to be made for increased law and order. More from Vincent James at The Red Elephants.

GOP Shift in House Races

Dick Morris says the Kavanaugh impact is now starting to be felt in the US House races, and many more of them are now solidly Republican or leaning to the GOP. He says the Republicans are now looking like they might lose 10 House seats, which would leave them with a majority of the House still under their control. There’s still risk, Morris says, “but the trendlines are very, very good.”

Newt Gingrich has a similar projection. He believes Republicans will gain seats in the Senate and lose seats in the House. However, he says it still remains to be seen whether Republicans can hold the House. If so, the Border Wall will be one of the first projects undertaken.

H.A. Goodman also predicts the GOP will retain both the House and Senate, gaining in the Senate and holding the House. This is, of course, a complete reversal from a month ago, when all polls pointed to the Democrats taking the House as well as quite possibly the Senate. Goodman also talks here about alternatives to YouTube, the online platforms to go to escape the Google censorship.

Dr. Steve Turley sees signs of the GOP beginning to make big gains in House seats, but focuses here on Minnesota, where Keith Ellison is in danger of losing his bid to be elected attorney general. Ellison is the No. 2 “man” in the Democratic National Committee and has been beset by charges that he repeatedly beat his former girlfriend. Of course, most Democrats are ignoring those allegations, just as they snoozed while Bill Clinton raped women. Perpetual hypocrites!
