Soccer legend Alex Lalas has stirred the pot, saying many Americans were glad to see the U.S. women’s team defeated after so many of its members brandished their extremist politics. Led by the scurrilous Megan Rapinoe, six of these diehard leftists refused to even sing the National Anthem when it was played surrounding the tournaments.

DeAnna Price and Brooke Andersen stand for the National Anthem after winning the women’s hammer throw at the U.S. Olympic Track and Field trials. The third place contestant, accentuating her status as an also-ran, declined to stand for the National Anthem, preferring to sulk and pitch her leftist political views.

Mark Cuban, owner of the Dallas Mavericks National Basketball Association franchise, has banned the playing of the National Anthem at his team’s home games.
