We’ve all heard how the government might institute a vaccine passport system as a form of digital ID. Under this plan, everyone could be required to obtain passports to track their purchases. You would need a passport to buy food in a grocery store or to get a new driver’s license or orchestrate any other transactions.
Less well know: These passports are the brainchild of the CIA. A long roster of shadowy data firms with CIA ties, including Palantir and the Mitre Corp., developed this idea and have been the major forces trying to push it into effect. More from Vincent James, with The Red Elephants.
