Sen. Josh Hawley, R-Mo., appeared on Fox News with Jesse Watters Primetime. Most of the agents sent to guard former President Donald Trump on July 13 in Butler, Pa., were not U.S. Secret Service agents, but raw recruits from the Department of Homeland Security, operating on two hours of training. “It is absolutely outrageous,” said Hawley. Apparently the federal law enforcement agencies signed off on the assassination attempt. The leaders of these agencies, as well as the FBI, all need to be fired and tried on charges of treason.

Kamala Harris has selected the Minnesota Gov. Tim Walz, a certified radical, as her vice presidential running mate. Walz had been endorsed by Sen. Bernie Sanders of Vermont and the United Auto Workers for the position. But Republicans have scorched Walz for declining to call in the National Guard and allowing Minneapolis/St. Paul to burn during the riots touched off in the George Floyd protests.

Shapiro, the governor of Pennsylvania, might give her a better shot in Pennsylvania. But Styx says he will cost the Democrats in Michigan and Minnesota, both states with heavy pockets of Islamic voters.
