Food, Power Shortages Intensify

The food supply chain continues it meteoric collapse with the announcement that Augason Farms, a major food supplier in the United States, has ceased operations. Mike Adams, of Health Ranger Reports, says Augason informed its distributors that orders can no longer be filled and it will cease operations for 90 days, at which time the situation will be re-evaluted

In addition, says Adams, our energy supply is on the brink of collapse. “We’re heading into the dark winter of the collapse. It’s becoming more apparent to everyone,” Adams says. “We’re going to have a lot of blackouts this winter and part of that is because the Democrats have been dismantling the coal infrastructure. They’ve been pushing for green energy, solar panels and wind turbines.” Here’s his report on the Natural News channel.

Green Policies Doom California

Sometimes you can just see something coming, especially if you have covered a particular topic for a long time. Texas’s power troubles were as predictable as the morning sunrise, but it took a very unusual confluence of negative events to bring the horrible consequences we now see playing out on one of the least deserving violators of energy common sense in the nation.

But California is wayyyy overdue and literally living on borrowed time. The fires of the last two fire seasons showed us how easy it is to interrupt the electricity flowing to your home – especially if you live in the Golden State. Under the cloud of confusion, which is the current green energy climate, California has waayyy overshot common-sense energy mixes that will eventually lead to California’s civilization grinding to a halt. Spinning The Turbines

What’s behind the Texas power outage? Should we blame the frozen wind turbines? Or have other shutdowns, include coal, natural gas and nuclear power plants, contributed to the morass? Here, Los Alamos scientist Tony Heller examines the facts, and gives you realistic appraisals of the problems. Heller has been in the forefront of dispelling many of the myths of the climate change leftists. He’s a practical, i.e. credible,  source of information in this disaster.

Wind Subsidies Killing Eagles

Your tax dollars are being spent by the billions to subsidize wind turbines, which are killing 600,000+ birds every year including eagles, rare owls, and migratory birds.

Is this really environmentally friendly? More from PragerU.

Green New Deal vs. Fiction

The Democrat Party is seemingly all in with U.S. Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez’s Green New Deal, a radical plan to eliminate fossil fuels to save the planet, but not without a stern warning from opponents. Former Popular Mechanics editor and author James Meigs says, “That’s a goal you could only imagine possible if you have no idea how the energy economy works or how energy is produced in this country. Renewable is especially hard, because it’s so inconsistent. You can’t just put in wind turbines and solar panels. You also have to build all this infrastructure to connect them with energy consumers, possibly very far away, and you always need a backup plan.” Consumer advocate John Stossel debates the issue with Meigs and Manhattan Institute senior fellow Mark Mills on Stossel TV.

Bald Eagles Now Protected

Paris Swade for Liberty Writers reports: If you didn’t know, Obama hated America while he was President. He even passed a law that allowed for Bald eagles to be killed or injured in the thousands by the high-speed turbines on wind turbines. President Donald Trump is taking steps to reverse those policies and protect our Bald eagles. More from the Next News Network.

The Skeptical Environmentalist

Instead of throwing away money on “feel-good” initiatives like recycling and building wind turbines to curb global warming, Danish environmental writer Bjorn Lomborg says there are plenty of less sexy and less costly projects that could be undertaken that would have a much more dramatic and positive environmental impact. Lomborg, the author of The Skeptical Environmentalist, shares his ideas here with New York Times science columnist John Tierney.

“The thing that blows my mind is that we spend so much money on feeling good,” says Lomborg. “I would like us to do stuff that actually works.”  The two appeared for a talk at New York’s Museum of Sex, sponsored by the Reason Foundation.
