Jefferson Never Forgave Them

Did you know that the original draft of the Declaration of Independence, written by Thomas Jefferson, contained a fiery passage that outlawed slavery and laid the blame for the atrocious practice squarely at the feet of King George III? Jefferson’s closest advisors in shaping the Declaration, John Adams and Benjamin Franklin, went along with the abolition of slavery.

But when the Declaration of Independence was approved by the Second Continental Congress, meeting in a hot and sealed-off chambers in Philadelphia in July of 1776, the delegates representing the 13 colonies wrestled over the document tooth and comb, and the passage abolishing slavery was thrown out, mostly owing to the objections of the delegates from Georgia and South Carolina. Here’s Glenn Beck with the full story, a rarely shared twist of American history.

An Age Of Revolution Returns

The American Revolution in 1776 spurred a series of revolutions around the world, beginning in France and continuing in Haiti and other Latin American nations through the early 1800. How did the thinkers behind these revolutions communicate? How many were members of secret societies or outfits like the Free Masons?

Now, the same astronomical skies have returned from that era? Will we see a new round of revolutions?  Does astrology have anything to do with it? Here’s more from Greg Reese.

Freedom: The Next 250 Years

Ben Franklin warned: America has “a republic, if you can keep it.” If! He wasn’t sure the great experiment would last.

I ask Stossel TV guests, how did we make it to 250 years? Americans “went out into the untamed wilderness and established towns and cities that really didn’t have to lean on a central government in order to function.” says Linnea Lueken of Heartland Institute. That self-reliance made America successful.

Unfortunately, today, people say, “Problem? There ought to be a law!” But the more government “fixes” things, the more control politicians have over us, and the less freedom we have. That’s not what the founders wanted.

What really makes America thrive? Ron Paul, Steve Forbes, Jennifer Grossman, Grover Norquist and others explain in my video above. Here’s more from John Stossel, focusing on how liberty, property rights and limited government built the freest nation in history.

Daylight Savings: A Leftist Scam

Donald Trump has said that he will try and finally end Daylight Saving Time. But where did it even come from?

For his whole life, Glenn Beck believed that it was about helping the farmers. But recently, he discovered the shocking – and infuriating – truth.

As with everything annoying in our country, you can trace it back to … Woodrow Wilson. Beck reviews the real history of Daylight Saving Time, from Benjamin Franklin to the Germans in World War 1 to Wilson and FDR.

So, can Trump do away with yet another pointless progressive legacy?

The Rebellion To Tyrants

The phrase “Rebellion to Tyrants is Obedience to God” is the essence of the sermon by Jonathan Mayhew in 1770 that sparked the American Revolution.

Michael Boldin, host of Tenth Amendment Center, says Mayhew’s sermon on resisting tyranny laid the moral, religious and philosophical foundation for much of the Revolution.

Boldin reports that shortly after the Declaration of Independence was adopted in 1776, a committee of Thomas Jefferson, John Adams and Benjamin Franklin worked to design a great seal for the United States, which originally included the powerful phrase on the obverse of the seal. Here’s more.

Who Were The Rosicrucians?

The ancient and mystic Rosae Crucis Order is the world’s oldest fraternity, destined to experimenting, practicing and  studying the highest principles of  human nature and the universe.

Among the most influential names in the history of humanity, including Leonardo Da Vinci, Paracelso, Rene Descartes, Isaac Newton, Benjamin Franklin and Thomas Jefferson, were members of the order, known as the Rosicrucians.

But who really were the Rosicrucians? Were they an order of secret masters to rule the world.  What did they want and seek? And what did they teach?  In the following video, Sync Mind takes a deep dive into some of the answers.

What They Don’t Teach

In schools, we all learn about the most famous scientists, from Benjamin Franklin to Albert Einstein. But there’s plenty they don’t teach you about the greats of science. TruthstreamMedia helps fill in the gaps.
