10 days before his inauguration, President-elect Donald Trump was handed an “unconditional discharge” in the hush money case, which means he is a convicted felon but will face no further penalties. Justice Juan Merchan handed out unconditional discharge on all 34 charges, as expected. Merchan told the court that he has determined that unconditional discharge is “the only lawful sentence, without encroaching upon the highest office of the land”.

In a brief breaking news segment of “Nino’s Corner,” Juan O. Savin tells David “Nino” Rodriguez that there’s a concerted effort underway by a rogue foreign group to urge alleged “traitors” in the GOP camp to replace Donald J. Trump as their nominee, following his conviction in the hush money trial.
Savin says the well-funded group has been tasked to divide players within the Trump camp. “There’s an effort to have an alternative and portray that some very strong people in Trump’s camp would be glad and willing to do so,” Savin said. “I don’t think they’re going to succeed because we’re aware of it and they’re not going to get what they want to get to.”
