The Outlook in Iran

New Eastern Outlook: As it pretty much always the case, the ruling Middle Eastern elites have once again failed to stop the beginning of yet another “color” revolution, or an an attempt to trigger one. This time it was Iran that found itself staring down the barrel. This development could easily have been predicted as the wave of “color revolutions” swept across Tunisia, Egypt, Yemen, Libya and Syria but never reached Tehran. AS a matter of fact, Iran is the last Middle Eastern player that’s standing in the way of Washington’s and Riyadh’s plans to redraw the regional map, and it seems that the latter two together with Israel are getting increasingly frustrated with the Islamic Republic of Iran. Lionel Nation reports.

Slavery Is Back

In the aftermath of Hillary Clinton’s State Department destroying Libya and the ensuing migrant crisis, there are currently open-slave markets ongoing in the middle-eastern country. The United Nations-backed Libyan Government of National Accord, or GNA, said Libya “is going through difficult times which affected its own citizens as well. It is, therefore, not fair to assume responsibility for the consequences of this immigration, which everyone unanimously agreed that addressing this phenomenon exceeds the national capacities. We affirm again that the practical solution is to address the real reasons that drive people to leave their home countries, treat them and develop final solutions for them.”

Where is the outrage over modern-day slavery? More from Stefan Molyneux.

Sergeant’s Video Goes Viral

Sean Hannity interviews a retired U.S. Marine who works as a private security contractor. He took to Facebook to warn of the dangers Americans still face in Iraq. Steven Gern’s video, which was posted from Iraq and has been viewed more than 45 million times, came just a few days after President Trump’s executive order triggered massive protests at U.S. airports.

Trump’s orders involved restricting access to the United States for refugees and some visa holders from Iraq, Iran, Libya, Somalia, Sudan, Syria, and Yemen, said the aides and experts, who asked not to be identified. The restrictions on refugees are likely to include a multi-month ban on admissions from all countries until the State Department and the Department of Homeland Security can make the vetting process more rigorous. Gaddafi Son Faces Trial

Nearly two years after Muammar Gaddafi was overthrown and killed in Libya, his son Saif al-Islam is yet to stand trial for alleged war crimes committed during the 2011 uprising. He’s set for a hearing in Libya in August, but International Criminal Court judges fear he won’t receive a fair trial there. Libya is meanwhile defying an ICC ruling by refusing to hand him over to the Hague, insisting on trial at home.

Saudis Behind Benghazi Coverup

It wasn’t the election, but rather secret CIA-sponsored arms sales and Saudi money that motivated the Benghazi coverup, a recent political analyst reports. Pundit Dick Morris explores the disturbing implications, and asks how pervasively the Saudis are influencing US politics through bribes and secret campaign contributions.

Why Benghazi Still Matters

Reason.TV cites three reasons why Benghazi still matters.

1. We still don’t know what really happened.
2. U.S. officials keep attacking free speech as the cause of the attack.
3. We still don’t have a foreign policy in the Middle East – or anywhere else.
