Kamala-Epstein Link Drawn

Giving Kamala Harris control over inflation is akin to letting Jeffrey Epstein set America’s human trafficking policy.

That’s the assessment of J.D. Vance, the Republican vice presidential candidate. Vance is interviewed by Shannon Bream on Fox News in a clip distributed by The Gateway Pundit.

Trump Acquittal Inevitable

It sounds like people across the political spectrum admit and concede that next week’s sham impeachment trial of President Trump will ultimately end in an acquittal, but the corrupt Democrat Party, with the aid of the mainstream media, is proceeding with the show only to gain political points.

Rep. Jim Jordan tells Fox News’ Shannon Bream that the Democrats are obsessed with destroying Trump and have been since he took office, but their tactics are doomed for failure. “They’re not going to prevail, because there are strong arguments for the President,” Jordan says. He points to the Constitutional argument that you can’t remove a President that’s already gone, as evidenced by Chief Justice John Roberts’ refusal to preside over the trial because Trump has already left office. Then there’s the question of due process: there were no depositions, no witnesses, no hearings, no cross examinations. In other words, case closed.

Jordan and Bream also discuss the growing concern for the GOP over Rep. Liz Cheney’s impeachment vote and the Democrats’ attempt to censor Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene, and remove her from committee assignments over what they deem “disturbing” social media posts.

Viewers Abandon Fox News

Stunned and shocked by the traitorous and cowardly reporting by Fox News, viewers en masse are abandoning that network, and turning instead to NewsMax, Right Side Broadcasting and One America News for more credible news reports. This is not going to be a short-lived blip. Our prediction: Fox News will continue to slide as it proves just as shameless and discredited as CNN or MSNBC.  Few except hardcore Leftists trust or believe any of these dinosaur outlets. We used to trust Fox News, but no more. Now, they can die with their deceitful ignoramus hosts like Chris Wallace and Shannon Bream, Bret Baier and Neil Cavuto. More from Steve Turley.

Times are looking bleak for the mainstream media. CNN and other Leftist networks and newspapers are dropping subscribers like they were dead passenger pigeons. Fox News had been withstanding the tides, but then took a bizarre turn capitulating to the Leftists and now conservatives are abandoning the station they used to steadfastly prefer. Can the mainstream media survive? Or will the rampant censorship and establishment bias sound the death knell for these fake news outlets? More from World Alternative Media.

Justice Ginsburg Dead

U.S. Supreme Court Justice Ruth Bader Ginsburg has died at age 87. More from Fox News.

How long before we learn Ginsburg’s replacement? The fastest confirmation in recent years was Chief Justice John Roberts, nominated by George W. Bush, who won appointment in 23 days.

But it typically takes longer. On average in recent years, it has taken about 27 days following appointment for the confirmation hearings to begin. And those hearings can drag on two or three months, although the hearings might happen more rapidly with the Republicans controlling the White House as well as the Senate and the Supreme Court.

With the election coming up so fast, though, it’s doubtful confirmation hearings would occur before Nov. 3 — when voting takes place. Senate Majority leader Mitch McConnell will want Republican Senators out on the road defending their seats, not marooned in Washington, DC, on official business.

When Ginsburg was ill last year, President Donald Trump identified one possible replacement he could endorse: Amy Barrett, a conservative and Catholic serving as a Circuit Judge with the US Court of Appeals. It’s unclear if Trump still favors Barrett for the post or whether he might appoint another candidate. Here’s a report Shannon Bream on Fox News did at that time about Barrett.

Chief Justice Rips Cryin’ Chuck

Chief Justice John Roberts issued a stern and rare rebuke to Senate Minority Leader Chuck Schumer, following his comments targeting the two most recent additions to the U.S. Supreme Court. It comes as the high court jumps back into the abortion debate, mulling a law that requires doctors performing abortions in Louisiana to have hospital-admitting privileges. Receiving choice words from Schumer were recently appointed justices Neil Gorsuch and Brett Kavanaugh.

“Justices know that criticism comes with the territory,” Roberts said. “But threatening statements of this sort from the highest levels of government are not only inappropriate, they are dangerous.” Here’s more from Fox News’ Bret Baier and Shannon Bream.
