Did Chief Justice Save GOP?

The Washington Post columnist Paul Waldman says the recent pro-abortion ruling by Chief Justice John Roberts may have saved Republicans 2020 election prospects by muting pro-choice critics and damping their support for an uninspiring candidate named Joe Biden. Waldman basically labeled Roberts a mastermind for the ruling, which sent conservatives into a tizzy. While the “Right Angle” trio says Roberts’ misdirection may have inadvertently created some benefits for the GOP come November, they’re not buying the “mastermind” tag.

Bill Whittle says that not only has Roberts defanged the motive the left would use, he also highly motivated conservatives to go out and vote for Donald Trump. As far as being a conservative genius, Whittle adds, “Good guys seems like the kind of people you want in government and the Supreme Court, and every day that goes by you find out that they’re not these things at all. They’re just prideful, morally adrift apparatchiks. And it’s been a huge disappointment, and I get the feeling the disappointments ain’t done yet.” Here’s more with Whittle and colleagues Scott Ott and Stephen Green.

The Iowa Cock-Up

We still don’t know who won the Iowa caucuses. Perhaps Jeb from off the rails. Yes, folks, it’s a rant from RazorFist.

The Iowa caucus is a complete meltdown and disaster. The Democratic Party is in total shambles. They relied on an App Company called “Shadow” to bring them clean results. You couldn’t have come up with a more hilarious ending in a Saturday Night Live skit, and we all know how SNL is super-challenged to be humorous these days. More from Tim Pool.

The Do Nothing Desperate Dickhead Democrats have failed once again. As of 1 a.m. , they still did not have caucus results announced for Iowa. Hey Dems, let us give you a clue: 1 + 1 = 2, 2 + 2=4. We could tell the Dems more, but what’s the point. They are Democrats. They will never learn to count. They will never be logical or honest or trustworthy or believable. They are all in it for the money, doesn’t matter whether it’s Bernie, or Hillary, or Joe or Barack. CNN’s Jake Tapper goes viral after mocking “unviable” Joe Biden supporters at an Iowa caucus. It doesn’t appear as if Biden even reached 15 percent of the vote. He ended up down in the dumps with Amy Klobuchar. The victors were Bernie Sanders and Pete Buttigieg, with Elizabeth Warren trailing in third place. That, at least, is what seemed to be the results. And that’s probably why the Democrats refused to announce them. This is a party that hasn’t been honest about anything for decades. More from The Liberty Hound.

– SNC Lavalin Obstruction of Justice
– Free Speech
– Gun Control

SNC Lavalin – a giant Montreal construction firm – was accused of two major crimes based on its association with the Qaddafi regime: Paying $48 million in bribes to Libyan government officials, and defrauding the Libyan government (and other entities) of “property, money or valuable security or service” worth $130 million.

Deferred prosecution agreement = no criminal charges.

In the leaders’ debate, Conservative leader Andrew Scheer accused Justin Trudeau of lying to Canadians when the SNC-Lavalin allegations first surfaced:

“You looked Canadians in the eye and told Canadians that the allegations in the Globe and Mail were false,” Scheer said to Trudeau.

Trudeau replied: “They were false.”

This will surprise the Ethics Commissioner, who ruled otherwise.
