Over 100 people have been arrested and federally charged in a massive Portland fentanyl crackdown, and the details raise serious questions about border security, illegal immigration, drug trafficking, and what Americans are being told about these crimes.
Federal authorities seized more than 100 kilograms of fentanyl—an amount prosecutors said could potentially kill 50 million people—along with firearms and more than $1.3 million in suspected drug proceeds. More than 80% of those charged were reportedly illegal immigrants from Honduras and Mexico currently living in the state of Oregon.
This operation shows why President Trump, ICE, Tom Homan, and federal law enforcement continue emphasizing the connection between immigration enforcement and combating dangerous criminal organizations. But that is only the beginning. Here’s more from Stephen Gardner.
President Donald Trump opened his daily press briefing on Sunday with a bombshell, reporting that the U.S. military has freed a group of young people from precarious situations in Peru, Honduras and two other locations, including a girl who was being threatened and abused.
“We spoke to (Joint Chiefs of Staff Chairman) General Mark Milley and he took care of it and we got her out,” Trump says. “We’ll report further on that one, but it was rough stuff.”
Trump says that with the help of the Peruvian and Honduran governments, the military is working on rescuing others from these locations. Could this well be the beginning of the storm–the unsealing of the 200,000-plus indictments and the patriots’ mission to free the planet of the evil that has plagued it for decades? Stay tuned. The Central Americans taking part in the caravan crossing Mexico have opened fire on Mexican cops, signaling they mean business and will exert violence, if needed, to reach the United States. Finally, a crowd of nearly 7,000 migrants are moving from Honduras, currently in Mexico and on their way to the U.S. border.
