Shameless Socialist Celebs

Venezuela used to be the richest country in Latin America. Today, its economy and civil society are disintegrating. The country is experiencing widespread hunger and out-of-control violence—a result of former President Hugo Chávez’ move, starting in 2002, to nationalize industries, establish price controls and block foreign capital from entering the country.

Back when Chávez was still in power (and still alive), U.S. celebrities including Danny Glover, Naomi Campbell, Michael Moore, Oliver Stone and Sean Penn praised the former president and his brand of “Bolivarian” socialism. As did left-wing intellectuals, including the famed M.I.T. linguist Noam Chomsky. What do they have to say now? John Stossel reports.

Shooting a Hole in Liberal Logic

Liberals  are stuck on cultivating a culture of victimization. “We are victims of the evil American empire,” they proclaim. The country is exposed to this caustic rhetoric daily by hustlers from the grievance industry, such as Michael Moore, the Reverend Al Sharpton and the Reverend Jesse Jackson.

Zonation’s Alfonzo Rachel says the propaganda has reached a breaking point, causing many to snap and seek justice through violence. “Of course, liberals believe the answer is more gun control,” Rachel reasons. “Sadly, you liberals think that behavior can be controlled with more bad laws. Yet despite liberals insisting that we need more bad laws, they hate Republicans because we think this is a constitutional republic where we have the rule of law. But it’s the rule of good law, and liberals hate good law.”

Michael Moore’s Latest Sleaze

In an election cycle where Democrats just couldn’t resist spewing venom and obscenities, Leftist douchebag Michael Moore topped the rest of the profane pack with a political ad featuring some crotchety biddies who needed their mouths washed out with soap. In this Week in Blogs, Stephen Green suggests euthanasia for these creepy crankcases, as well as for Ted Turner, who expressed glee over a report of American soldiers driven to suicide. Anyone wondering how our news media turned so vile need look no further than Ted Turner.

Ohio Trending to Romney

When it comes to the all-important swing state of Ohio, “the momentum is clearly with Romney,” pollster John Zogby tells Newsmax TV. But it’s the independent vote that really matters in the Buckeye State, he says. When asked how important the independent vote is for Ohio, Zogby tells Newsmax: “Extremely important. For starters, Ohio does not have registration by political party. People will identify themselves as Democrats or Republicans but most voters in Ohio are independents.”

Meanwhile, back in August, Rush Limbaugh cited a University of Colorado economic model that predicted a blowout Romney victory — with the Republican challenger carrying most, if not all, of the swing states to amass more than 300 electoral votes. The researchers behind the model say it has successfully forecast all eight presidential elections since 1980.

Also, we have some confirmation from the Left, as Michael Moore projects a GOP win in November and advises Americans to practice saying “President Romney.” With three weeks left until the election, it’s too early to get cocky. But now’s the time to brace up, mobilize and bear in mind the patented words of Peter Ingemi from DaTechGuy’s Blog: “Ride right through them, they’re demoralized as hell.”

America’s Biggest Hypocrite

Chuck Woolery, longtime game show host for Lingo, Scrabble and Wheel of Fortune, takes down Michael Moore in a sumo grudge match. Woolery describes Moore as “America’s biggest hypocrite” and calls him “a wolf in sheep’s clothing — extra, extra, extra-large clothing.”  The savagery reaches a delirious peak as Woolery recounts rumors of the corpulent Moore sleeping “on a bed made of money being hand-fed deep-fried Twinkies by Princess Leia on a floating barge made of gold.”  Kudos to Woolery, waging the good fight and saving America one hypocrite at a time. Michael Moore’s Mansion

Michael Moore fashions himself as a staunch friend of the working man and an exemplary paragon of a post-racial, socialist utopia, but he actually dwells in a multi-million dollar mansion, alongside an exclusive lake,  in an all-white community in Michigan. The late Andrew Breitbart exposes Moore’s hypocrisy and also sheds light on the Occupy Movement embraced by Moore — a movement composed largely of rich, white guys, just like Sir Beefcake himself.
