In Pursuit of Truth does some exceptional investigative reporting that gets to the bottom of the George Floyd murder, touching off weeks of riots and racial unrest. Santamaria ran the Minneapolis nightclub, El Nuevo Rodeo, where both George Floyd and Minneapolis policeman Derek Chauvin worked. While Santamaria ran El Nuevo Rodeo, its owner is Omar Investments Inc., under the control of chief executive officer Muna Sabri. She is the cousin of Palestinian slumlord Basim Sabri, convicted and jailed after he was arrested by the FBI in a sting operation on charges involving money laundering. He is the second leading donor of Minnesota Congresswoman Ilhan Omar. (24:58)
3. There Goes the Neighborhood. Why was George Floyd transferred over to Derek Chauvin? Was Chauvin in charge of silencing Floyd? Why was this death so conspicuous and visual for all the world to see? Was human trafficking the source for this disagreement? Or money laundering and counterfeiting? (36:00).
4. Odd Places, Odd Fellows. IPOT covers an earlier police shooting of an Australian woman, who had contacted police after hearing suspicious noises in her neighborhood. We see how the police turn off their cams to destroy and camouflage details of the killing. Here, we learn more of Minneapolis’ large Somali community. How many of these are extremist Muslims and war criminals? What role has been played by secret societies? (46:28)
