Wrath Of Media Sunk Elder

When you dissect Larry Elder’s attempt to unseat Gov. Gavin Newson in the recent California special recall election, the reason he failed sticks out like a sore thumb. Not only was Elder up against the corrupt Democrat Party, but he also faced the wrath of the fake news media.

At center stage was the uber-liberal Los Angeles Times, who labeled Elder the “Black Face Of White Supremacy” in a headline right out of the campaign box. When Elder called The Times out in an editorial board interview, they were speechless, but that didn’t deter the fake news. Later in the campaign, Elder was attacked by a woman wearing a gorilla mask during a visit to Venice Beach. The Times published an article with the headline: “LAPD is investigating altercation involving Larry Elder at Venice homeless encampment.” It included a misleading photo, where Elder appeared to be slapping a woman. And on and on.

The usual political suspects stormed into California in support of Newsom, appearing in a flurry of campaign ads. Says Elder, “Notice they never uttered the following words: Gavin Newsom has done a good job for the people of California.” More with Elder for Epoch Times.

The Rise Of Citizen Journalists

Tim Pool is part of what some call the new media, citizen journalists who work for themselves. Increasingly, such journalists cover things the mainstream media miss.

Pool, who leans left and supported Bernie Sanders, reports whatever he sees on his news channel TimCast. When the media jumped on a video of a grinning Covington High School kid wearing a Trump hat, claiming he was taunting a Native American man, Pool was skeptical. He found a longer clip of the encounter on YouTube and used that to show that the Native American elder approached the kids as they waited for a bus, not the other way around, as had been claimed. There was no evidence that the kids were racist.

In this edition of his blog, John Stossel reports Pool is part of a new wave of independent journalists and thinkers–leftists, centrists, libertarians and conservatives–who use the new media to get the word out. “I’m glad that gives us more options,” he says. Here’s more.

A Gift To Us From The Left

An illegal alien, out of jail on bail, has been accused of beheading a man in a park and playing soccer using the head as a ball. This one goes out to Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez, Bernie Sanders, Ilhan Omar and also the other dumbass DemonCrats who want to eliminate all immigration and border controls. Will Kamala Cost Demon Rats?

Devastating insider leaks are showing just how Leftist Kamala Harris is. As a U.S. Senator, she was ranked to the left of Bernie Sanders, Elizabeth Warren, even Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez. What compelled Joe Biden to appoint her as his running mate? Can we afford to have a hardened Leftist so close to the White House? Will her polemical nature cost the Democrats in 2022? More from Lisa Haven.

Liberty Is Winning

Thanks to property rights and free markets, humanity has achieved prosperity and freedom that our ancestors hardly dreamed about. Americans are now 30 times richer than we were 200 years ago.

That perspective is lost on populist complainers, such as Bernie Sanders, who falsely claim “the rich get richer and the poor get poorer.” If he and his followers understood their history, they might be less eager to tear down the free-market system that made lives better. In the following segment, John Stossel is joined by the Cato Institute’s David Boaz to discuss the consequences of liberty.

The Nuclear Option

Vermont Sen. Bernie Sanders and other progressive minions are adamant that climate change is an existential threat to our country. But if they really believed that, they would support nuclear energy, the only technology that has a track record of rapidly replacing fossil fuels.

Environmentalists in the U.S. rarely support the nuclear option and their opposition can be traced back 40 years to the partial meltdown at Three Mile Island, Pa., where no one died. The incident would have been long forgotten if not for The China Syndrome, a Hollywood flick that said a nuclear accident could burn a hole all the way to China. “People saw that and freaked out,” says environmentalist Joshua Goldstein. He says we’d have more nuclear power if it weren’t for that movie and the media hysteria that followed.

On the other side of the issue is activist Harvey Wasserman, who says it’s an inevitability that another disaster looms in the future. Wasserman and Goldstein join John Stossel to debate the issue.

Texans Now Eyeing Secession

State Rep. Kyle Biedermann, a Texas Republican, discusses the growing secession movement — Texit — in the Lone Star State. Texas has one of the most robust industrial and commercial sectors of any state across the USA. Texas will not only be hamstrung but likely see its economy hit the doldrums if America slides toward socialism.

Village idiots like Bernie Sanders and Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez might think Socialism is  A-OK, but anyone with half a brain can gauge the track record. Look at the downturn in the once-robust nation of Venezuela ever since it became a socialist shithole. More recently, we are seeing the same kinds of rampant decline in South Africa.

Here, Biedermann outlines the Texas secession movement in an interview with Chris Salcedo on Newsmax. More from The Salty Cracker.

Trump Will Not Concede

While President Trump gave his blessings to the GSA to continue with its transition duties, he made it crystal clear that he will not concede, especially when there are still questions about the process in which the votes have been counted.

Like a growing number of Americans, political vlogger Jeremy Griggs of DDayCobra can see that Donald Trump is built differently than your run-of-the-mill politician. “I don’t like the Republicans, I’ don’t like the Democrats. I don’t like the establishment. I’m a Trump supporter,” he says. He adds that America should sit back and let the legal process play through and let the cards fall where the may.

Tune in as Griggs tees off on AOC, Robert Deniro, Bernie Sanders, the mainstream media and the rest of the pathetic Left.
