Democrats To Acquit Trump

H.A. Goodman says a handful of Democrats will join the vast majority of Republicans to acquit President Donald Trump in the absurb impeachment trial now under way in the U.S. Senate. Which Democrats? Goodman mentions three in particular: Joe Manchin of West Virginia, Doug Jones of Alabama and Kyrstein Sinema of Arizona.

Also, he says he would not be surprised if Dianne Feinstein of California votes to acquit, which would be quite significant, given her role as the ranking Democratic member on the Senate Judiciary Committee. Of course, after saying she might vote to acquit, Feinstein later reversed course. Someone obviously got to her!

Another reason to acquit Trump? Much of the impeachment is a sham to cover up illegal acts by the Democrats, and particularly former Vice President Joe Biden, in the Ukraine. In his new Common Sense series, the president’s friend and lawyer Rudy Giuliani says there were at least two major bribes paid in the Ukraine. One we know about and the other that Giuliani will prove , showing documents and calling witnesses from the Ukraine in the months ahead.

Tim Pool says impeachment has been a massive failure from the start. Even during the trial, the Las Vegas oddsmakers have been raising the odds that President Donald Trump completes his first term. In other words, the oddsmakers see Trump being victorious and the Democrats going home in defeat. Now, the longer impeachment continues, the more likely the Democrats will suffer.

The Democrats seem destined to lose but at least a few of them are wising up. Dr. Steve Turley talks about a new article he found, declaring that impeachment is killing Trump derangement syndrome. Truth About Meghan Markle

Kavanaugh Wins Appointment

Brett Kavanaugh has won appointment as a Justice to the US Supreme Court on a 50 to 48 vote this afternoon in the US Senate. Kavanaugh gathered the votes of all Republicans, except for Steve Daines of Montana, who was not present, and Lisa Murkowski of Alaska, who simply voted present. Meanwhile, all Democrats cast no votes except for Joe Manchin of West Virginia, who sided with the Republicans in approving the appointment.

Some protesters tried to disrupt the vote and had to be removed from the chambers. Other demonstrators outside the Senate were arrested.

Kavanaugh Has The Votes!

It’s looking more likely Brett Kavanaugh will be appointed the next Justice for the U.S. Supreme Court. Both Susan Collins, R-Maine, and Joe Manchin, D-W. Virginia, announced Friday that they plan to vote in favor of Kavanaugh’s appointment. Previously, they had been undecided. Likely, Kavanaugh will draw 50 or 51 votes —  a slim majority — but still a majority, and enough to end the impasse over his nomination. Anthony Brian Logan has more.

Democrats: Liars, As Always

Some of the Democrats are complaining that Supreme Court Justice nominee Brett Kavanaugh was too forceful in pointing out how the Democrats are trying to scuttle his appointment. Balderdash! If Kavanaugh wasn’t forceful, they would be calling him milquetoast. The fact is: These Democrats haven’t had any intention of voting for him from the beginning. All they have wanted to do is block, delay or scrap his appointment. Dick Morris has more.

Laura Ingraham Wednesday uncovered yearbooks for Christine Blasey Ford’s high school — Holton-Arms School in Maryland. These show Ford and her friends were hardly angels. They were not only drinking heavily, but joke about passing out and peeing in the shower. Ford, a popular cheerleader, had a reputation as a “party girl.” She refers to herself as “Blas.”

The Winner: Justice Kavanaugh!

H.A. Goodman says Brett Kavanaugh will be confirmed as the next Justice on the U.S. Supreme Court.  Late into the night, more Senators announced they would be voting to confirm Kavanaugh. He was said to have the support of Jeff Flake, R-Ariz., Bob Corker, R-Tenn.; Susan Collins, R-Maine; and Lisa Murkowski, R-Alaska. With Republicans lining up solidly behind him, Democrats began to drift over as well, starting with Joe Manchin, D-W.V. As many as six or seven other Democrats could vote to confirm Kavanaugh, but even if it’s only  two or three, he will be named to serve on the Supreme Court.

Dick Morris calls Brett Kavanaugh’s appearance Thursday before the Senate Judiciary Committee one of the greatest moments in political history in recent years. Not only did Kavanaugh provide a convincing statement defending himself from the smears and slurs that have been leveled against him by the Leftist Democrats, but he likely sealed his victory as the next Supreme Court justice. Senate Approves Gorsuch

Senate voted Friday to approve Neil Gorsuch as the next Supreme Court justice in the first big triumph for the administration of President Donald Trump. The vote was 54-45 with three Democrats joining the Republicans to approve the Colorado-based federal appeals court judge. Those Democrats: Indiana’s Joe Donnelly, West Virginia’s Joe Manchin and North Dakota’s Heidi Heitkamp. Gorsuch gives conservatives a clear 5-4 edge on the Supreme Court.
