Now we learn the FBI had targeted members of the Republican Party under the administration of the corrupt Joe Biden. Senate Judiciary Committee Chairman Chuck Grassley, R-Iowa, revealed Tuesday that the FBI had an investigatory bureau called “Arctic Frost” that probed nearly 100 Republicans and Republican groups, including Charlie Kirk’s Turning Point USA.
Grassley says Arctic Frost was entirely political in nature. ” “In other words, Arctic Frost wasn’t just a case to politically investigate Trump,” Grassley said. “It was a vehicle by which partisan FBI agents and Department of Justice prosecutors could achieve their partisan ends and improperly investigate the entire Republican political apparatus.”
Arctic Frost was launched under the auspices of FBI Director Christopher Wray. Not only were dozens upon dozens of Republican organizations targeted, but also individuals including Rudy Guiliani and Sidney Powell, who has charged the 2020 presidential election was rigged. The leftists have engaged in serious agitation against Ed Martin, President Donald Trump’s choice for U.S. Attorney for the District of Columbia. So much so, they spooked Republican Thom Tillis, a U.S. Senator from North Carolina, who serves on the Judiciary Committee. Tillis refused to back Martin, dooming his nomination.
So Martin has now withdrawn. An unnamed leftist, walking her dog, actually spit on him earlier this week as he was conducting an interview with Newsmax. She’s going to regret that scurrilous behavior. President Donald Trump has now named Judge Jeanine Pirro, the fiery conservative from Fox News, as his choice to replace Martin as the U.S. Attorney for DC.
Let’s hope Tillis gets an earful from North Carolina conservatives, and steps in line behind Pirro. He can still redeem himself, but not if he continues acting like a turncoat. At times like these, when the nation’s integrity is at stake, we cannot leave vital business in the hands of weak and backward, as well as quite often corrupt, players. Earlier this month, Attorney General Merrick Garland testified before the Senate Judiciary Committee, where he was questioned about his department’s decision to send armed SWAT-style agents to the home of a sole pro-life protester to arrest him, even after he had offered to turn himself in voluntarily.
