The Ferguson Lie

One of the most significant events of this century happened on Aug. 9, 2014, on the outskirts of St. Louis, in a town called Ferguson, Mo. The event is so imbedded in our psyche that if you just mention Ferguson, everyone knows what you’re talking about–alleged police brutality and racial injustice. Problem is, people think they know what happened in Ferguson, but many are mistaken. During that fateful evening, a young black man, Michael Brown, was shot and killed by a police officer, which fueled nights of riots and gave fuel to a new social movement–Black Lives Matter. Syndicated radio-show host Larry Elder breaks down the details of that night in Ferguson and its historical significance in this episode of PragerU.

Chicago’s Not-So-Magnifcent 7

Everyone’s heard of the Magnificent Seven, the classic 1960 Western that dazzled moviegoers. Then there’s Chicago’s “Not-So-Magnificent Seven,” whom have created a political firestorm in the Windy City with a lasting, negative effect on America still evident to this day. The original classic starred luminaries, such as Steve McQueen, Yul Brynner and James Coburn. Chicago’s Seven features a cast liars, terrorists and racists: President Barack Obama, former Mayor Rahm Emanuel, Weather Underground terrorist Bill Ayers and four supposed “holy men”–Rev. Louis Farrakan, Rev. Jesse Jackson, Father Michael Pfleger and Rev. Jeremiah Wright. Despite wielding massive political power, they failed  miserably. Chicago remains the murder capital of the country, with no sign of letting up anytime soon. Biden’s Consistency Problem

With the spotlight on Sleepy Joe Biden’s attention-deficit problems and a barrage of faux pas over the past few months, Larry Elder found it apropo to look at the Democrat Party’s presumptive nominee’s struggle with consistency. Elder specifically details Biden’s messaging on two important issues: Saddam Hussein’s alleged WMD (weapons of mass destruction) program and the character of the individual who tragically caused the death of Biden’s wife and daughter in a car accident in 1972.
