Chicago’s Not-So-Magnifcent 7

Everyone’s heard of the Magnificent Seven, the classic 1960 Western that dazzled moviegoers. Then there’s Chicago’s “Not-So-Magnificent Seven,” whom have created a political firestorm in the Windy City with a lasting, negative effect on America still evident to this day. The original classic starred luminaries, such as Steve McQueen, Yul Brynner and James Coburn. Chicago’s Seven features a cast liars, terrorists and racists: President Barack Obama, former Mayor Rahm Emanuel, Weather Underground terrorist Bill Ayers and four supposed “holy men”–Rev. Louis Farrakan, Rev. Jesse Jackson, Father Michael Pfleger and Rev. Jeremiah Wright. Despite wielding massive political power, they failed  miserably. Chicago remains the murder capital of the country, with no sign of letting up anytime soon. Chicago’s Disgraceful Mayor

Rahm Emanuel, the disgraced mayor of murder-plagued Chicago, has announced he is finally stepping aside and will turn over the violent and bloody city to his successor. Styxhexenhammer666 describes Emanuel as “crappiest US mayor,” so there’s certainly plenty of room for improvement with this transition.

Islamic Terrorists the Threat

In the aftermath of the San Bernardino shootings, our leftwinger-in-chief, Barack Hussein Obama, and his liberal cronies are once again scrambling to implement gun control. Like former Obama Chief of Staff Rahm Emanuel once said, “Never let a good crisis go to waste.” But the real threats appear to be eluding the president and his gang of radicals.

Say Alfonzo Rachel, “Obama, you may just be too full of yourself to realize that murderers have a hatred that’s stronger than your laws. But Obama doesn’t know the difference between good and evil. If Obama doesn’t see partial-birth abortion as evil, and even leaving a child to die on a shelf as evil, then don’t really expect him to see a Muslim who would shoot up a group of people that just threw him a baby shower as evil.”

President Obama’s first Chief of Staff Rahm Emanuel once said, “NeverSocial let a good crisis go to waste.” And our 44th Commander in Chief wasted no time implementing that ideal. “He used that ‘crisis’ to promote socialism and fundamentally to transform the United States in very important ways,”  political commentator Dick Morris says.

Rapper Gives Boycott the Bird

Gay rapper Antoine Dodson says no one can stop him from eating at Chick-Fil-A. “I’m so tired of people from the gay community telling where I can/should eat at,” he says. “I’m so grown and do what I want when I want like eating at Chick-Fil-A.”

Seems like a healthy, independent attitude. Can’t say the same about the thuggish posturing by two mayors, Chicago’s Rahm Emanuel and Boston’s Tom Menino, threatening to veto Chick-Fil-A building permits in support of a gay boycott against the restaurant chain. If Emanuel and Menino want to walk a picket line or eat squid every day till the cows come home, they’re welcome to do so.

But they have moved well beyond the bully pulpit when they intimate they’re entitled, or empowered, to jerry-rig local building codes to wipe out those who hold differing political views. That’s not only a gross abuse of their authority, but also treading into quite illegal and dangerously un-American territory.

For the record, the contributors to Call Me Stormy are divided on the issue of gay marriage — some supporting it, others opposed. Regardless of where we stand on that topic, none of us want to see our greater constitutional rights eroded, and certainly not trampled upon by two-bit tinhorns like Emanuel and Menino.
