Another Twist In Rust Tragedy

The armorer for the film Rust was also doubling as prop assistant, according to the Los Angeles Times. The attorney for armorer Hannah Gutierrez Reed said serving in both positions didn’t work out for her and an additional prop assistant was brought onto the set.

Gutierrez Reed then complained about not having a dedicated cart for firearms, begging executive producer Alec Baldwin for one before being denied. H.A. Goodman says it’s been reported that there were three firearms laid out on a cart, along with a tray of ammunition, before Baldwin’s alleged accidental shooting that killed cinematographer Halyna Hutchins. “This makes no sense,” Goodman says. “It’s completely unsafe, and you’re waiting for an accident to happen.”

Was Gutierrez Reed overworked? Did Baldwin again violate protocol? Many questions still remained unanswered. Here’s Goodman with more details in the unending saga of the Rust tragedy.

Wrath Of Media Sunk Elder

When you dissect Larry Elder’s attempt to unseat Gov. Gavin Newson in the recent California special recall election, the reason he failed sticks out like a sore thumb. Not only was Elder up against the corrupt Democrat Party, but he also faced the wrath of the fake news media.

At center stage was the uber-liberal Los Angeles Times, who labeled Elder the “Black Face Of White Supremacy” in a headline right out of the campaign box. When Elder called The Times out in an editorial board interview, they were speechless, but that didn’t deter the fake news. Later in the campaign, Elder was attacked by a woman wearing a gorilla mask during a visit to Venice Beach. The Times published an article with the headline: “LAPD is investigating altercation involving Larry Elder at Venice homeless encampment.” It included a misleading photo, where Elder appeared to be slapping a woman. And on and on.

The usual political suspects stormed into California in support of Newsom, appearing in a flurry of campaign ads. Says Elder, “Notice they never uttered the following words: Gavin Newsom has done a good job for the people of California.” More with Elder for Epoch Times.

Speaker Pelosi In Deep Panic

With a little more than a year to the 2022 midterms, Speaker Nancy Pelosi is freaking out over the prospects of Democrats losing their wafer-think majorities in the House of Representatives and U.S. Senate. Liberal Hivemind says Democrats continues to fester and boil beneath the surface that will explode in a massive geyser that is the looming red wave.

The Los Angeles Times reports that history, retirements and redistricting will play a major role in Republicans taking back the House. Plus a Democrat report indicates that Republicans exposed far-left initiatives during the 2020 election that are inconsistent with the values of Latino voters. All-an-all, it spells bad news for the corrupt Democrat Party. Here’s more from Liberal Hivemind.

Make America California Again?

Residents are leaving California in droves because of exorbitant tax rates, high crime and failing public schools, yet the Golden State is the Biden Administration’s model for America. What can they possibly be thinking? Or are they thinking?

Despite the dismal failures in sunny Cal, the Los Angeles Times writes, “Make America California Again? That’s Biden’s plan.” Why would the rest of us want California’s problems? In the following episode, John Stossel highlights California laws and regulations that President Biden is pushing for the country and discusses the state’s politicians who failed their way into his administration.

Trump Rules Out Lockdown

President Donald Trump was clear and concise at his Friday press conference: Under no circumstances will his administration shut down the country. The announcement comes on the heels of a new vaccine that will counter the coronavirus pandemic in record time.

“According to some estimates, a national lockdown costs $50 billion a day and hundreds of thousands of jobs every single day. This administration will not be going to a lockdown,” Trump said. “A lockdown costs lives and a lot of problems. The cure cannot be worse than the problem itself.” The vaccine, developed by Pfizer, will be available to the elderly and most vulnerable in a matter of weeks, and to the general public as soon as April. Here’s more of Trump’s speech, presented by the Los Angeles Times.

Dirty Deeds

Jamie Dlux reviews a Blind Item from Crazy Days and Nights to reveal a longtime power struggle in Hollywood pitting reformers against known pedophiles. The latter used the Los Angeles Times to dish dirt when they couldn’t prevail upon the Hollywood Reporter to do their dirty deeds. This is a fascinating reveal and hinges on the activities of distribution executive Gary Goddard and director Bryan Singer, both eventually fingered for their roles preying upon underage boys.
