Debunking Black Myths

In his new movie Uncle Tom, radio talk-show host Larry Elder dissects many of the problems plaguing Black America today and debunks some of the greatest myths about the black community. Appearing on The Blaze with host Andrew Wilkow, Elder says blacks, especially conservative blacks, have been heavily targeted by the vitriol of the Democrat Party and mainstream media. But Elder, espousing the values handed down to him and his siblings by his parents, steadfastly maintains that hard work and faith are the keys to a stable life. “Nobody is denying that racism exists, nobody is denying that it always will exist,” he says. “But for the most part, right now in 2020, if you work hard, invest in yourself, don’t have a kid outside of wedlock, you will not be poor.” Here’s more with Wilkow and Elder.

Rhetoric From The Left Is Lame

There are no legal statutes in place preventing anyone from becoming a law enforcement officer because of their race. Still, the progressive activists claim that the entire concept of having a police department is systematic racism. Amazing. This is the mantra that leftists, particularly the Black Lives Matter movement, have cowtowed too, sending progressives on a witch hunt like we’ve never seen. They accuse anyone and everyone who isn’t on board with defunding the police, destroying property and every other item in the socialist’s handbook of being a racist. The Blaze’s Andrew Wilkow argues that Democrats know they can’t win the war with facts. Instead, they condemn their political opponents and institutions with made-up concepts like “systemic racism” and “institutional racism” to cow people into accepting demands they otherwise wouldn’t. Here’s more with Wilkow.

The Demise of Seattle

The once sparkling Emerald City, Seattle, is now badly tarnished. The establishment of CHAZ, now renamed CHOP in Seattle, is an interesting and zany story to follow, but it’s not like Seattle has only recently been heading toward a socialist meltdown. The Blaze’s Stu Burguiere looks at the disturbing road leading up to the insane current climate in the city, including dissecting a recent Facebook page constructed by Seattle resident Richard Paddon titled, “Seattle Looks Like Shit.”

Movement Or Religion?

Antiracist mobs may operate more like a cult than a social justice movement. Glenn Beck shows how today’s woke Americans, fueled in part by today’s Black Lives Matter movement, strive for social justice like members of a new religion. But, like the Roman Catholic Church’s inquisition, these devout followers will destroy anybody who refuses to accept their radical ideology. Learn more with Beck on this edition of The Blaze.

Nigel Farage Exiting BBC

The man who spearheaded the Brexit movement in England is leaving his BBC Radio show after voicing some controversial comments. Speaking on “Good Morning Britain,” with Piers Morgan and a Black Lives Matter activist, Britain’s most recognizable conservative compared the actions of violent protesters removing a statue in Bristol, England, to those of the Taliban in the Middle East. The comment sent Britain’s airwaves into a tizzy, aiming major criticism at the BBC. Appearing later on The Blaze, with host Glenn Beck, Farage explained that comparison is a perfect one, why BLM is a dangerous, Marxist organization and how a new cultural revolution is quickly taking over the United Kingdom.

Phil’s Message Of Inspiration

Phil Robertson of Duck Dynasty fame delivers an unwavering message of inspiration that you might find handy today.

“If these Marxists get in power, they’ll pass a law: no more freedom of speech, no more of this Jesus stuff,” Robertson says. “They’re already getting around people on that Internet, they tell me. Whatever happened to freedom of speech?”

There’s definitely no law that can keep Robertson from speaking his mind, sharing the Gospel and saying the name of Jesus. Is America ready for a mass awakening? Here’s Robertson’s “In the Woods With Phil” on The Blaze Network.

Was COVID-19 All For Nothing?

How many people were out of work, lost their businesses, were told their life-saving surgery was “elective,” or even were arrested while politicians and scientists panicked over the coronavirus? But now, in light of the George Floyd incident in Minneapolis, amidst the massive protests, the looting, the destruction in our cities, officials are saying that as long as you’re breaking social distancing guidelines for the “right” reasons, who cares! Did these elitists really believe anything they were saying, or was the lock down of our country and the ensuing destruction of our economy all for naught? In a riveting response to these questions and to the stunning turn of events, The Blaze’s Glenn Beck delivers a heartfelt and emotional message.

Fla. Sheriff: Blow ‘Em Away

After his department discovered various social media posts urging protesters to enter residential communities to loot, riot and begin fires, Polk County, Florida Sheriff Grady Judd urged them to think again and exercise their Second Amendment rights. “All we said is what every citizen in the United States has a right to do,” Judd says. “Your home and in your house, and looters take to the neighborhoods and they’re going to break into your house to rob, to steal to set your house on fire, why wouldn’t you blow them out of your house with a firearm? To me it was just common sense.” Judd also opines on the communities that choose to stand down and let the looters run wild, and explains the difference between the peaceful protestors and chaotic anarchists on this episode of The Blaze with Glenn Beck.

5 Worst Responses From Guvs

It’s hard to get a good sense of how good or bad our governors are doing in combating the COVID-19 pandemic, though the buffoonery in some states gives us a good idea. When you have clothing brands putting California Gov. Gavin Newsom’s name on panties and the media carrying New York Gov. Andrew Cuomo around like he’s Rudy Ruettiger of Notre Dame Rudy fame, the list of the worst responses to the crisis gets short in a hurry. The Blaze’s Stu Burguiere compiled a definitive list of the five worst responses during the pandemic. And surprise! They’re all Democrats. Here’s Burguiere’s report on “Stu Does America.”

Abrams Not a Good VP Fit

Bill O’Reilly is adamant that Georgia political stalwart Stacey Abrams will not be Joe Biden’s VP pick. “I don’t think she’ll get it, because she’s hard to control. You’re not going to be able to tell Ms. Abrams what to do,” he says. Appearing on The Blaze with host Glenn Beck, O’Reilly opines on who Biden might choose and what qualities make for a good running mate. He also shares his views on how restarting American sports would give a huge lift to morale in America.
