The Black Conservative Patriot now goes by a new name — the BCP Report. He says he’s no longer a registered Republican because too many Republicans — especially in the U.S. Senate — routinely ignore the wishes of their constituents. The U.S. House has been more responsive and responsible, as a whole.
He has lots of news to report, including a look at the swatting incident that targeted the Virginia home of U.S. Supreme Court justice Amy Coney Barrett. “Swatting is an attempt to get an innocent person killed—in this case, a sitting Supreme Court Justice,” Sen. Mike Lee (R-UT) said in a Thursday post to X. “The proper response will be putting the offender in prison for many, many years.”

Washington D.C. police are investigating a series of shots fired Thursday in the vicinity of the home of Supreme Court Justice Amy Coney Barrett.
Are the leftist Democrats deliberately trying to scare the living hell out of Barrett to get her to cast her votes differently? Or is this just another example of random violence percolating in heavily leftist territory?
An underwater bomb has been retrieved from a reservoir in Alabama. The bomb was found outside the Converse Reservoir Dam. The reservoir provides drinking water for close to 350,000 residents in the vicinity of Mobile, Alabama.
The FBI, the Mobile County Sheriff’s Department and numerous search and rescue outfits joined a bomb squad in retrieving the grenade-like bomb.
The question now becomes: Who placed the device? Pranksters or terrorists? And if terrorists were involved, were they Chinese, Islamists representing Iran or perhaps illegal aliens who joined the 20 million or so admitted into the country by the inept and senile Joe Biden?
So there remain questions to be answered. Here’s more from The Salty Cracker.
Colorado Gov. Jared Polis has commuted the prison sentence of Tina Peters, the Mesa County Clerk who charged election fraud occurred in the 2020 Presidential election. The Democrats in Colorado wanted to make an example out of Peters and gave her a nine-year prison term. Now, Polis says Peters will be able to walk free on June 1.
President Donald Trump had advocated clemency for Peters. And many Republicans have blasted Polis and his leftist followers for incarcerating the 70-year-old Peters. Here’s more from Fox 31 in Denver.
Security guards assigned to protect President Donald Trump remain on high alert. Potential assassins have been observed actively testing the perimeters around the White House.
This follows a shootout Monday involving U.S. Secret Service agents and Michael Marx, a 45-year-old holding a Texas driver’s license. He was apprehended on the National Mall in the vicinity of a J.D. Vance motorcade.
Marx remains hospitalized, with multiple injuries to his back and legs. He also injured a juvenile standing near him. Further details remain unknown at this time. Here’s more from Davis “Nino” Rodriguez.
Judge Andrew Napolitano joined “Wake Up America” to break down the Supreme Court’s ruling that struck down Louisiana’s newly drawn congressional map, which the justices found violated the Voting Rights Act by drawing lines strictly based on race.
Napolitano also touches upon the case of the would-be assassin who tried to attack President Donald Trump Saturday night at the White House Correspondents’ Association dinner in Washington D.C. Here’s more from Newsmax.
