The [Deep State] are doing whatever they can to stop President Donald Trump and the people from winning the midterms. They believe that if oil prices go up and Iran hangs on through the midterms, this will help them.
They are wrong. Trump, by contrast, has predicted that right after the midterms, Iran folds. The [Deep State/[Central Bankers] failed to extend long-term security for that rogue regime.
Trump is now using some of the same campaign tactics as the Democrats. The difference? Trump is much more likely to follow through on his promises while the Democrats routinely lied. In an election-year pledge, reminiscent of the old-style Democratic moves by Franklin Delano Roosevelt, President Donald Trump is pledging to give every eligible American adult a $5,000 rebate, providing the Republicans can retain both chambers of the Congress.
Some restrictions will apply. For instance, Vice President J.D. Vance has suggested that the wealthiest Americans might be excluded. Also likely to be excluded: Illegal aliens. Trump held out the pledge at the Republicans’ midterm convention in Dallas, Texas.
He also announced he is seeking major changes in the way the 2030 U.S. Census is conducted. Under his plan, illegal aliens and non-permanent legal residents would not be counted as part of the population used to decide House apportionment. This would significantly reduce the number of seats given states like California and New York, while raising totals for red states.
Opponents argue the 14th Amendment requires apportionment based on the “whole number of persons” in each state. The proposal is open for public comment and is expected to face significant legal challenges. Here’s more from Stephen Gardner. Her resignation follows the departure of her deputy Joe Kent, who opposed the Iranian War, and more recently, the resignation of Amaryllis Fox Kennedy, Gabbard’s assistant in charge of Policy and Capabilities. For those who don’t know, Amaryllis Fox Kennedy is the daughter-in-law of Robert Kennedy Jr. A former CIA officer, she had just assembled 40 boxes of documents pertaining to the CIA’s involvement in the assassination of the late President John F. Kennedy. Her resignation came in protest because the CIA marched into her offices at the DNI and seized all 40 of those boxes to prevent their release.
President Donald Trump had promised his administration would tell us the truth about the Kennedy assassination. Apparently, we’re not going to get the truth — just more subterfuge that hides the ugly reality of the CIA’s history and the inordinate role that agency has played in political assassinations and violence within the United States.
We can’t say we’re shocked. There have many signs lately that the Trump administration isn’t nearly as transparent nor as clean as they try to portray themselves. Are we giving up on Trump? Not yet. There’s time to mend bridges and actually fulfill campaign promises.
But that’s not at all the focus right now. In fact, it’s impossible to say what is the focus right now, as it seems to shift daily, sometimes by the hour. Will the administration ever get back on track, or will the disappointments continue? That’s the rub — and it’s a difficult, and dangerous, one.
Kamala Harris keeps making lavish promises of all the things she’s going to do on day one of her administration. Somebody ought to tell her: She’s already the de facto president. Joe Biden is a demented sponge. Harris, quite literally, is already in charge.
